Thanks D Im actually a lil worried going sleep I know if I don't its just as bad so I'm going to spend extra time meditate it sounds silly but last night dream was too much I woke up in a state hopefully after meditating il feel so relaxed il drift off into a deep sleep

Wolfie, did he clip your ears into what shape! Spock? I always wanted Spock ears when we watched Star Trek as kids. Bet you look dapper now.
Hope last night was dreamless or if you dreamed it was about likkle lambs leaping in the soft meadow.
I had a weird one last night, big group of dogs loose and a guy and his car had rolled out of an hotel drunk, he was laid comatose with a smile on his face. I was on the hunt for a bottle of vodka ! Didn't get one though. Lots of other stuff going on as usual with dreams.
I think sometimes Wolfie the more you try not to think of something the more it is there. have you had a word with the therapist you speak with?

Wolfie. Have you tried sleeping with background music? I know YouTube has lots of sleep music and sounds- like wind or waves or streams. I've used it befor when I've had a bout of insomnia .

FBL, I've never heard that poem before, how lovely, thank you for sharing it
And thank you for the congrats ( and to you too Wolfie!) it does feel good racking up the sober months.
Although I've been extra busy and doing more days/hours this week, it has gone pretty quick. Just today and then tonight I pick up hubby from the station and the weekend is here again! One more busy week and then things get kinda back to normal.

Ps, I'm getting the fourth pair of leggings, they're in the post and I got an apology for the 'confusion' haha the squeaky wheel gets the most oil!!

Thanks guys after logging out I put on a guided meditation video & I didn't dream as much no where like the last two days so I'm really grateful for that
Spock ears would be so cool Mags but alas it wasn't meant to be
The guy always does my eyebrows with a comb & mini clippers sounds silly but I can't stand bushy eyebrows with wispy hairs everywhere and when he done my ears i didn't ask but he got the one hair on my right side that was buggin me I was well happy I said thank you I've been trying to get that with scissors lol

As for my therapist I'm on a waiting list since my last therapist left I asked the person who is helping out with courses & work & she said if you havnt heard anything by the end of October then phone me again ? I'm a bit peeved at this and I'm not even sure if this is the right help as they are focusing on anxiety and not on depression and they havnt actually made me think it was Anna who helped me going out regularly again what with talks of walks the books that have really helped my agoraphobia if it wasn't for my foot I'd be out doing 5 miles now (btw i plan on exercising again this weekend hopefully get a pair of karimoor)
I'm ringing the Dr after this post to get an apt as I think I need help and all this waiting is doing my head in & I don't think they have helped its more you guys & I'm not even saying it like that but for real you guys make me better & stronger

Hey y'all, happy Wednesday.
Can you believe winter is coming. I can't. Time is flying by, makes one think.
So my dental insurance doesn't cover what I thought it would. Big time dissappointment. Some tears were shed over that. I'll never understand why dental isn't included in medical insurance.
So I went to a new mental health counselor yesterday, because the last one changed jobs, and she encouraged me to go to group therapy for my anxiety and addiction issues. So I think I'm going on friday to group therapy! I have never done it before. I'm nervous and also kind of exited. She seemed to think I would really benefit from it.
I've been having bad dreams too lately, and trouble sleeping. I think it's just been too hot in my room. When I'm hot while I'm sleeping I have nightmares, bad ones. I had a terrible one the other night where I was basically dying and possessed and was awake in my dream and couldn't wake up out of the actual dream. I've had those for years and it's usually if my head is covered up or hot or something. Weird, hey?

IP, I hear ya on the dental insurance. I have what they call a "dental discount" plan. It only costs about $150 per year and it saves me about 30-50% on various dental expenses. Not sure if it's available in Canada, but you may want to investigate further. Glad you liked the poem. My grandma used to read it to us when we were little kids.

I've had a hot bath feeling a lot better although my dog seems addicted to watching us in the bath for the last couple of months I think it's when I had a bubble bath once and he was eating the foam mrs sw had to pick him up & take him to the bedroom & ever since he just sits waiting for bubbles lol
I bought him some balloons last weekend he goes absolutely hyper he tries to keep
it in the air by hitting it with his nose il try & record it one day
Just watching tv going to go read soon
