Mags - so sorry to hear re the steelworks - I watched the news yesterday evening and thought how sad it was that the UK basically does not have many of the things that it used to have that helped make it a 'great' nation. However, you seem to be keeping things in perspective which is great
Soberwolf - hope your brisket is good!! I've had a whole leg of lamb in for a similar length of time today as well as made some pea and ham soup - all things that are yummy!!
A friend popped round from AA this afternoon which was nice; I had ordered some literature for him and he came to pick it up /pay for it. It's nice to see some folks away from meetings and he definitely counts as in that crowd! Lol.
Oh, and 1,000 days sober for me today - yaaay!

Congratulations on 1000 days, brilliant feeling-good, you must be so pleased.
Your pea and ham soup sounds scrummy mmmm.
Yes, industry in the uk seems to be finishing, unfortunately.
Wolfie, I haven't seen gravity yet, only trailer, will make a point of watching, I like a good film.
HI to everyone, I'm going back to bed it's only 3.45 am, I thought it was Monday today, what a relief when I realised it was Sunday. Brill feeling.

FG, congrats on 1,000 days...you rock!
Picked up the final episodes of Mad Men on DVD. One of the few recent shows that I really got into.
Another sunny and crisp fall morning...my favorite time of year
Have a great Sunday, overs!
