Evening Julyers hope everyone is having a nice weekend
Today we done the shopping & then done the garden and some diy in the garden fixing the wooden borders, the backgate & the backdoor
Our neighbours bushes/weeds have been hanging over for a while now i said something last week but they seem to have gone on holiday lol so i just started cutting it back i wanted to do more as its still overhanging and its weeds its not even a bush but mrs sw told me stop so i did
The garden looks lovely & we were going to go out for a meal & a film but were both quite tired so were watching everybody loves raymond dvd's & then some mma later
Have a nice saturday evening julyers

Happy 2 years Bob!!
26 July is my sober "twin"s sobriety anniversary. Unfortunately, I am the evil twin and have not made it to 2 years, but definitely 2 years of a life focused on getting and staying sober.

Thanks Dee. I'm in a super place right now too, so thank you. I'm feeling things I haven't felt before and don't feel like drinking or sobriety is a shackle around my neck. I'm actually surprised life can feel this good. That's another reason I haven't really posted. I'm doing so well, when others aren't, I feel like a pain in the butt.

Bob, congratulations on 2 years. I know I've asked this before, but would someone mind reminding me of my two year date? I can't remember anything these days. I'll put the date down on my calendar if anyone knows it.
I went on a date with a nice fellow last night. Dinner and then we went to a dance. Met him on a seniors dating site. I thought, what the heck. I'm lonely. Dancing was fun. He's a good dancer. May see him tomorrow. I drove last night, so he could have a couple of beers. I wasn't tempted at all.

I know technically there was a minor slip up for you Crois , but I like this day to celebrate you both on your continued sobriety. You're an i proration to us all.
Leshar , that's just wonderful news honey! I'm so glad you are putting yourself out there and getting back into life , God knows , you certainly deserve it xxx

Congrats on two years, Bob! Very inspirational to me. I love the serenity you bring with you here when you post. I want that in my life, you're a great role model for me in that regard.

Your date sounds like it was a lot of fun, Leshar. I have never been much of a dancer, even when drinking. Maybe I should actually try it sober some time. But not any time soon. Don't think I'm ready for that test yet.
I'm on day 80 now, Julyers. My first ever day 80. If I keep doing tomorrow what I did today to stay sober, no reason it can't be my only day 80. Thanks to each and every one of you for keeping me sober for the last eighty days.
