Hi everyone!

Bob, it is awful here too outside. I think Aug and Sept got it backwards?! I am so ready for fall and cooler weather. Going to a surprise 40th bd party for one of my hubby's friends later today. Sure hope his wife didn't plan it for outside?!

Not much else new here. Hope you are doing well. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend all

Uggh weather here is all back to front too. Temperature lows this week are from 10-13 degrees. (50-55 in your world.)

It's 9am here and it's only 12 degrees, overcast, has been raining all night and a lot of the week. I still had my scarf and puffer jacket on yesterday.

I want some beach weather!

I'd rather have some cooler weather,at this point.
We had some pretty fierce thunder storms move through the area. Even reports of a tornado.

I'm going to be compiling a resume tomorrow.
I got a reply back from a online application to a awesome company one town over from my home.
They asked some additional questions (about 12).
One asked if I had a BA in engineering, I do not.
I'm hoping my 23 years in the field will play out. As well as my knowledge of a certain CAD system software. There is also an employee that used to work in our group that now works at this company in the dept I'm trying for.
We got along well when we worked together.
Wish me luck.

Hi everyone , just checking in . Sorry i haven't been talkative much , I'm going through a hard time at the moment . My Boss at work has been a total bastard . I'm not used to dealing with A holes like him .

I never defend myself properly and remember things i should have said in hindsight.

This is really getting me down how can one person be such a pig and affect your life? What gives them the god given right to feel so superior .

I've felt terrible ever since Friday when he called me into his office and wrongfully accused me of a situation at work .

How do you deal with this ******** when you are 100% in the right .

I've been crying all day , i think it's triggered my depression as i was doing so well.

I went to my doctor as I'm very shaky and cant sleep . I thought it would be best to let him know what I'm dealing with .

He was lovely .

Sorry guys i wish i could be positive , but it's so hard to write happy things when crying ...sigh ...I'm at a loss here ;-(

I hate crying , it's extremely hard to snap out of it once you start ugh xxx

Oh Snoozums.((((BIG HUGS))))
I hope you're having better days now.
Bosses can be real pains in the arses.
Oddly enough, I'm looking for one.

I've got all my ducks lined up for unemployment benefits and such.
I sent my resume to that company that was looking for more info.
Wish me luck folks.
It would be so wonderful to get a job before I even start collecting.

BTW, my old job called and is wondering if I can work another week.lol
They need help moving out everything from our old offices and shop.
We simply ran out of time.

What did you say? Have you organised your referees? Make sure they give you a good one!

Snoozy, I'm so sorry to hear about what you've been going through. Isn't there any support you could seek at work. Your HR dept? You shouldn't be mistreated like that, whether you made a mistake or not.
So sorry you're feeling sad and depressed. I'm glad you saw your doctor.

I'm not so good myself, terribly depressed. I asked my doctor by email to put me in hospital. I see him tomorrow. My meds aren't working, I'm barely functioning, not drinking though.

Not sure what "referees" are?
References maybe? He's one of them.
It's nuts, I have a conference call from home tomorrow at 9 am.lol
I'm getting more correspondences now that I'm not working there anymore.
All this is doing is screwing up my unemployment benefits and pushing them back further. All it means is I'll be able to collect longer into next year.

Thanks friends xx I'm feeling a lot better today . Maybe a good blubber to my did did the trick . He has fiven me this Friday off and next Thursday , Friday off if i want it . We shall see .

My sadness has turned to anger today , so that's probably a good thing , it makes me stronger . How dare he be such an ******** .

Bob , thanks oh and i would politely decline their offer of another week as you have got the unemployment ball rolling now .

You owe them nothing.

Workplaces only care about one thing , and that's not their employees. It's the almighty dollar . Tell em to go jump !

Leshar , I' hope they do put you into hospital . I think you need this love xxx thinking of you .

Ladybug , how many weeks are you now ? Xx

Crois are you still on track with food ? I'm jealous ...just cant do it x

G'day Nikki , nice to see you again xxx

Hope you post again NCG .

Dee i hope life is just peachy for you in your new place .

Much love xxx
