Haha! Me and dear H were giggling this afternoon that a friend recommended some supplement to us years ago that we tried but didn't seem to make much difference. We'd spent 8 hours on booze and cocaine and were really surprised when the B12 didn't seem to make much of a difference to our hangover

My evening was lovely, thanks - my friend was really shocked that I'd thought she'd be drinking, after being such a rock to me for the last few weeks. So we had a wonderful sober night together making lasagne and hot chocolate cake and eating till we burst. Brilliant.

H was well chuffed to get a cake doggy-bag too, and is now reading in bed covered with crumbs looking very pleased with himself

Jen, are you around? How was your day honey?

xxx

Quick check in guys. Made it through the wedding toast and all. Drank a lot of non alcoholic beer and coffee.

Well done INH. Just watch it with the non alcoholic beer though. Part of the difficulties I found with things like that was that it reinforced the belief that I needed to drink in social occasions because some part of me didn't want to be seen without something that could be at least perceived as an alcoholic drink. It's great if it is helping you right now just be careful of the associations x

Hi guys.

Glad you're managing ok INH. I think you need to be really clear about your motives when you're drinking the non-alcoholic stuff. My H has drunk it when we've had friends over and they're drinking. I guess in his head he's still part of the group and doesn't look any different. It has never led him on to harder stuff. I on the other hand have no interest at all in non-alcoholic wine. I'm sure those old associations would be there for me straight away. Stay strong x

Where's Hux today? How are you doing my friend?

Well the heatwave continues here...it's going to last for 2 weeks apparently, which coincidentally is how long I've still got at work. What's the betting the rains will start as I finish......?!x

I hate to be all british but... it's too hot! Me and the dog have been out for a bit and I could feel myself burning. I do hope it stays nice though as I'm off on holiday after next week and want to go swimming in the lakes. The only time it is tolerable is if the weather has been nice for a few weeks so this could be my only chance!

Hope you're having a nice day all x

Oh I'm burnt already. We sat in the garden yesterday and had a BBQ. I fell asleep.....schoolboy error....I'm very pink today. Long sleeves and trousers for me for a while...

But I love the sunshine when I'm home. I just don't want to work in it. Oh wait....I don't want to work full stop!!

Just off to babysit my nieces for the afternoon now x

Work was difficult and it isn't even close to being resolved. I've been preoccupied with other stuff and so it has faded into the background a bit. Every so often the anxiety bubbles up and I have one of those have to sit down and catch my breath panic moments, but all-in-all I've managed to block it successfully.

I'm still thinking we need to swap jobs sometime soon Hypo....tomorrow?x

Hello lovelies, so nice to see you all

Yeah, it's hoooooot. And the beaches here are super-crowded, and since the beaches are basically our back garden, me and H have stayed in and sulked. Ha! Take that tourists!

School tomorrow. I hate teaching when it's hot. All of my work clothes are geared towards cold weather, because, well, it usually is. And my kids go nuts. And we sit in traffic all the way home with the sun blaring through the windscreen. (Can sun blare? Yeah, I'm going to go with it )

Jen, I think you should swap jobs with ANYONE. Hypo's job is definitely lovely, but anything that doesn't give you panic bubbles would be good. Panic bubbles! You deserve to be happier than that my love. We break up in 2 and a half weeks. Bah. And then I'm doing a week of summer school, then I can put this whole horrible job behind me forever...

Haha! I'm the ideas queen!

Ball tester would be good. They test different kinds of balls to make sure they come off the assembly-line bouncy enough.

And as if that wasn't a bundle of fun in itself, you totally get to tell people you're a...well, a ball tester

Not sure about 'ladies' being appropriate here....not exactly ladylike behaviour....

Urgh....Monday morning. I HATE my job. I don't want to go in. 12 working days to go.
