Thanks. The parents thing is chronic and not likely to improve. Part of Recovery for me is getting strong enough to Let It Be.
Us learning to manage our SV is completely doable and INFINITELY BETTER and INFINITELY LESS HARMFUL than getting drunk every night, imo. Like a bazillion times better.

Checking in. Holy crappers....what a day. Nothing like doing other peoples work to get everyone off your back. How many ways can you figure something out and explain it to someone to get them to do there job. I was ready to open a can of whoop A$$. Dang!
I was starting to think seriously about taking up plumbing after about 7 hours straight of finding alternate ways to explain how to correct an issue. So is the life of fighting death and saving lives.

Checking in , I saw my liver doctor yesterday and he is very happy with me and I don't have to go back so I am now under my GP again and only need to do anual blood work now.

Sorry you had a crap day, Dave. Stupid people. I got all excited there for a minute thinkin I had me a new plumber, but it sounds like you might go back to work tomorrow and give it another shot. ~sigh~

YAY AUSSIE!!!! I am so relieved and happy for you.
Trying a new class at the gym that meets at 6:45 instead of the 5:30 one. The one I've been going to at 5:30 is just.too.danged.early. And it's really hard. And expensive. Wish me luck!

Good luck, Frances! And my thoughts and prayers are with you for your parent relations. Like I've said before, its no accident that we live 9 hrs from ours. I had a trepidatious moment yesterday when I announced that we will board our pup at the beach in June rather than at home. My dad would have said no, like its his choice. So, i told my mom instead. A workaround or avoidance, I guess, but its worked so far. Plus this way we get to take her to the beach with us during the day.
Oh well, class is starting. Gotta go.

Mornin peeps! I'm up early today..I have a teaching job today as a pre-school para-pro. (Not lead teacher) I'm hoping it will be really fun! I like the idea of team teaching and I have no issues not being head honcho. On the contrary, really. Much lower stress and worry. Anyway, it's just the mornings today and tomorrow. My parents are coming here in a few to be with Ben for the hour before he boards the bus. I could have left him alone, but to be honest, I really didn't want to. I'm pretty sure he likes this idea better, too, tho he would have been fine. I'll report how I did with the little snot nosed monsters!!

Howdy- I had to go back to catch up a little bit. Everyone seems to be heading in a good direction. I pray that today is a better day. I guess the bad ones make the good ones seem so much better.
Mirage good luck with your adventure. That is actually exactly what my mom does. She loves it. She loves the kids and loves that she is not alone.( Team Teaching) She is not a spring chicken anymore, but says that as long as her mind and body will let her....she will continue on her adventure of educating in that environment. Have fun!

Oh, that's cool, Dave. My mom was a kindergarten teacher after she stayed home with us till I (the youngest) was like in middle school, I think. She and her twin sister, both, were K teachers..they were made for the little ones. My dad started his career teaching middle school and eventually went into administration.
I had fun today! Nice group of kids, not too crazy, which makes all the difference. They're so darn cute. And yes, I was correct..very drippy noses. Why do all 3-4 yr olds have runny noses all over the place?! We'll see if I get sick. Chances are fairly good, I'm thinkin. Gonna have a bite and then go to Michaels to see if they'll frame my xstitch and then Pet Smart cuz the Roxinator needs fooooood!! Hmm...what for dinner? I'll decide when I get back. Carry on, people!
