Count me in! It's Sat. afternoon in L.A. I silenced my AV's whining with blueberry pie last night - like two big pieces. Sugar did the trick - I couldn't imagine wanting booze after. I like to check in here often because now that I feel better physically, AV likes to pop up randomly. I was contemplating making linguine and clams, for dinner and AV said, "Ooh. You'll need Sauvignon Blanc. You don't have to drink it, but you ALWAYS put it in the dish." Can you believe that BS? "Get thee behind me, Satan."

Hi Everyone. Day 4 here and I just got off work. (long shift) I am going to a function tonight that I cannot get out of and everyone will be drinking. I am kinda freaking out. I haven't had that hard of time until today. Usually after a hard day of work I go straight to the bar for a vodka. My AV is really bad right now. I know I cannot drink in moderation and I feel so clear headed the last few days. I hate this. I know everyone is going to keep trying to get me a drink.

Thanks Gilmer. You are right. I am suppose to help serve dinner and stay the night in our trailer. I think I will leave the dogs instead of bringing them like I was going to and use them as an excuse to come home straight after dinner. I know some people will be disappointed but my health comes first. I hope someday this wont be so hard. The more I stress the more my mind wants a drink.


I will not drink today!!! I can do this!!! I will be thankful tomorrow!

I just had a tuna salad sandwich, took a walk and it rained today. That's my day in a nutshell.

Sober Saturdays. So many hours in the day! Especially when I get up at o'dark thirty.

I hope everyone makes it through the weekend without picking up.

My day is like a stretched out bit of old chewing gum. I can't even tell what I did with all these hours. I think I just sat and stared at the screen. I feel really absent though.
I managed to eat well, wash my hair and drink a lot of tea and did the laundry. I want to feel better but I don't know what to do. Or if I can do anything now.
