Thank you Mantalady asking for help is struggle for me . Thank God i love Dee and i am always bothering him . i love him and i don't I feel so ashamed to ask him for help but i do because he will there for me love him
Right, time to go to the tip and drop off the car full of rubbish I I have sorted from my house. I have been shredding paper for 2 days now, I hate paper shredding...it keeps over heating, having to pick out the paper from the shredding teeth, wait for it to cool down and then do some more. Thankfully mostly done. I had a habit of keeping every notepad I ever used at work (as I work for myself) as I thought there was important information held in one I might need if I went back to that company. Needless to say after 15 years of hoarding these notepads I have never opened them again since I wrote on the last page haha! So off they go!
Have to say though, one thing was quite enlightening and a bit confronting was the amount of letters and notes in them I had wrote to myself over the last 8 years saying "you need to sort yourself out, you are out of control" in an attempt to sort out my life, endless health plans and house plans and life plans all that I did nothing with and carried on drinking. I had forgotten that I used to do that. Not any more!
xx

congrats on 60 days Manta, that's fantastic, keep up the good work
hang in there H&S. sorry you're having a rough time, but glad you reached out for help.
the sun is shining; I'm not hungover on a Saturday morning; England are batting at Lord's after bowling India out for 107; things could be worse with the world

Bim's idea up-Thread for Chain Link Fencing between Campsites might have some merit. I moved yesterday to the new Site below to get away from an older Gent who pulled in, and fired up not 1 but 2 Electricity Generators. They *needed* A/C on all the time in their monster Trailer. Plus, I can better appreciate that Rock Formation nearby cuz it's really a Butte, eh?
As happens when I just roll these Days with whatever the Universe dishes out, the Site below that I moved to caused both he and I to be happier. Me and MesaDog are hangin' for a Week by this massive Colorado Reservoir while MesaMate is away to Boulder for a Doc Visit, and to see numerous Gal Pals. A Win -> Win that helps explain our 41 Year Marriage.
The temps here @ ~7,400' are all over the Map, and the afternoon Thunderstorms are fun to watch from under the Trailer Awning. MesaDog gets a schnootful of everything, and I eat less of my own Cooking. Instant Weight Loss! Some Hikes. Stargazing. Lotsa amateur Pictures. Chats with other Campers that range from Tent and Car Campers, to bazillion Dollar RV Buses sprouting Satellite TV Dishes on top. Me, I have 3 large Solar Panels on top to carry on with comfy Techno Life in precious silence. A calmed, unperturbed Nervous System in Sobriety is yet another wonderful aspect of now being free. Highly recommended, and with daily gratitude to The Enlightened here on SR!

No way that itty bitty truck pulls that Nash, though. Must just be perspective/illusion.

Congrats on 60 days Manta Lady! I aspire to get to that point again with out having "just one glass" here and there. But, at least I keep trying and just don't give in.
Weather kinda cloudy and overcast here in the Northeast today. Getting ready to go to a yoga class and then not sure what I will do. Maybe tackle some more of the paint by numbers set. At least it's a diversion even if it looks awful and is tedious. I have to keep busy and stay out of the inside of my head....too many negative thoughts go through it.
Someone sent me a recipe for a delicious sounding homemade granola. Maybe I will venture out and get the stuff to make that.
All have a great day!

Now don't tease Mesa Man, his Ford is pretending to be a real truck! Chev gal here. Dh has gone to the dark side and become a dodge lover.
Seriously beautiful place to camp.
Beautiful Saturday and weekend here. Took dh with me to pick up some stuff at the feed store. BIG mistake. They sell maple syrup, dh loves maple syrup. My feed budget just got a ridiculous boost. Worse because they told him they can deliver the jugs of syrup with my feed and bedding. Like a lunatic sugar addict in a candy store.
Lots of work to get done, the weather is cool enough at night to wander our private road with the mutts, listen to the lake and birds and crickets and hopefully see some of the meteorite shower.

Hope you're doing okay Venus
(((Weekenders))) I've been lurking but I know I need to post....Saturdays are a toughie even if I make it through Friday (which I did! ) so I'm needing to stay close....maybe check out the meeting schedule.
Thanks everyone for being here
