Hi sober ender rogues!
Leftover tuna noodle casserole here...it just gets better. Meatloaf sounds good too. Comfort food with the weather getting colder, I agree mld.
Soberpotamus. ..I hope everything is ok with you. I need to read previous posts cause I think I missed something. All I can say is that any mistreatment of dogs is inexcusable and might indicate an abusive personality. But I know you said yesterday thst he just bops them on the butt and doesn't really hit them hard.
Bad news from WHO about bacon in the news today.

I'm sad about bacon but not that sad. I'll keep eating bacon and hot dogs.

Soberpotamus, hugs. I'm sorry.

We had an exciting working mom didn't plan so well dinner. Leftover ravioli and macaroni and cheese. Meatloaf sounds awesome but it's a hard sell. Maybe with gravy.

I roasted pumpkin seeds tonight. Good but oversalted. Sigh. I'm losing my touch in the kitchen. I almost dumped the macaroni down the drain because I neglected to secure the lid on the pan.

And again, I'll have to use the desktop to see the photos. Grr.

Potamus....you know what you can and can't live with and you have my support no matter what you decide. Believe me....I know all about that last straw!!

I was training for a half marathon earlier this year and then had a major MS flare up so couldn't continue. My mobility is back to almost 100% and I've been thinking about easing into training again especially now that the weather is cooler. Just have to get the ok from my doctor! Y'all are inspiring me!

Tomatoes, broccoli, black-eyed peas and cornbread for supper.

Sounds like a lovely intentional repast. I love hearing what we all eat.

Discovered that I can see pictures when I look at my iPad. Awesome! Tetra, that's some crazy swimming. I would not be in the water. Brr.

Sao, Boris is a handsome cat. He looks like he has some personality.

Time for me to go to bed. I'm looking forward to having a long stretch of days off. I'll see you all tomorrow.

Hi all

SP: hate to feel you hurt.

Bimini .. I'm very lucky to be living in New Zealand. I'm at the very front of the bus. Tuesday's been a great day by the way. I'm going to hop into bed whilst it's still light outside.
I'm wrecked.

Hey all, hellooooo well goodnight for most of you.

Just getting in bed after work. Easy day today. Had an event, made 550 pieces of 5 different appetizers and then worked a slow service.

I have some time off to burn before the end of this year. It's kind of a jerk move putting in a request right before we get busy for the holidays but since I don't care what the dates are, I should be able to get a week. Hopefully.

Let the world spin without me for a minute, I'm learning to listen to my sober self and honor what I need. What I most want is comfort and rest. I pity the fool who denies me some PTO.... Although that fool would be me for not requesting sooner.

Don't worry, I'll still blame it on my boss and HR. I'm still an alcoholic like that

Morning!!!

Relaxing at work with my headphones on and skyping the team. Some people have no shame. They just look into the camera and don't care how they look. Hahaha. I don't allow the camera to be on.

See ya!!!!

I'm not taking the bacon thing too seriously. EVERYTHING causes cancer, especially if you listen to my daughter. I don't eat that much of it anyway.

SP - I understand the last straw all too well. Hope you figure something out that works for you.

3 hours of work for next today, then some cleaning, and then a hike. Pretty boring, but all necessary.

Good day everyone. Overcast so no planets visible this morning.

Melina, I hope you get that time off with no argument. You deserve a break.

Light day for me and since I'm off starting tomorrow through Monday, today is my Friday. Yay!

A colourful daybreak this morning...

When the dark night feels too long, know the sunrise is just a few hours away. That’s the beauty of this realm... the sun always appears on the horizon & washes the sky in shades of pink to remind us to always believe in brighter days...

Just checking in. We lay Grandma to rest yesterday, and now we get to spend a week visiting family. My brother and I are going to an Uncle's new home today to put flooring in while he is at the hospital with my cousin who is getting a knee replaced. We spent at least an hour last night planning pictures we can pose to send them throughout the day at the hospital - pictures of us doing everything EXCEPT doing a good job laying that flooring. (Playing Twister, fighting, using his tools to cut meat, etc.) I think its gonna be a fun day.

Be well all!

I was just thinking of you, Nons. You and your family have been in my thoughts throughout the weekend. Sounds like you've got a busy day ahead, and a fun one too! Brotherly shenanigans ha!
