howdy, I saw a buck this afternoon! As I was strapping my harness to the tree I heard something behind me. I turned to watch him walk off in disgust.
Had the camera ready to take a picture of any deer I saw. None - you're welcome bim - I wasn't planning to harvest any today, just wanted a photo and to sit and model my camo. Either the deer took the day off or this camo sux.
Then with about an hour of light left a guy down the road plugged in a guitar and turned his amp up to 11. Maybe why the deer didn't show up. I think they prefer piano music. Not ozzy.
Picked up snacks for the weekend but the bag of chocolate covered pretzels I got is now a half bag - they don't cause cancer do they?

We have what they call "veggie burgers" here in america. Brings new meaning to the words 'mystery meat' as we used to say in the navy. But it really was meat. Can't pinpoint the species, but it walked at one time.

Long day today cause I couldn't sleep last night. Luckily, that doesn't happen often.
Watching Archie Bunker. Those Were the Days was a great show. I don't know why, but my antenna tv has lots of old shows.
Soberpotamus. ..I know what you mean about the doggies. I could never go for a walk without them. I'll be making a trip to the vet in the morning since my German Shepherd is limping around on three feet. My dogs mean the world to me.
ok...back to Archie and Edith.

Brain, I was wondering why you were spending the day in a tree. Wish you'd have gotten some pictures.

Next year they'll probably discover soy (which I love) and quorn (?) cause cancer, too. I don't worry about all that. An occasional piece of bacon isn't going to hurt you.

I started looking through my jewelry case and decided to clean it out and get organized. Found some of my granny's jewelry in there and an old engagement ring. Might see what the rings worth...it's platinum. I also discovered I'm missing one of my favorite earrings.

HAF....one of my brothers uses an antenna and he gets all the classic shows, too. I've gone over there to watch I Love Lucy marathons!
Hope you sleep better tonight.

One of my beagles was limping a few days ago, HAF. She slipped on a boulder at the creek behind the house.

What do you think happened to your dog? Hope everything turns out ok at the vet.

Nothing wrong with modern antenna tv. I get three networks, two movie channels and several classic tv channels. Then I have my Roku box. No cable bill except for internet.

Soberpotamus, don't know what's wrong with my dog...his foot is swollen. They run around in fields with cactus every morning on our walks....I'm thinking that maybe he got a cactus needle in his foot and got infected. But it's just a guess, so I'm taking him to the vet.

Hey everyone. Fungus among us? I've never tried quorn. I skipped dinner tonight. I almost never eat dinner. I had an ice cream cone instead.

Trying to get my brain into bedtime mode. HaF I hope your dog's better soon. Same for your dog, SoberP. Reminds me that I need to make a vet appointment for both cats. And a blood draw for me.

My doctor is monitoring my blood glucose levels and cholesterol. I got s reminder that I hadn't yet done my six month follow up. Rats.

I'm having a rough time. Mr. Ruby is gone until Friday but he's not been calling. I could pick up the phone to talk to him but I called the day before yesterday and he sounded out of it. We texted yesterday and then nothing today. Grr. I hate being co dependent. It's disheartening. I don't know why it bothers me.

I just knocked a big very slow moving bug off my arm. I have to deal with that. Not anything noxious. Just startled me. See you all in the morning.

Mildy moist up here in the north ,

Mist on the Pennine mountains and i can't see the lake district .

All the drains make a nice gurgling sound around the house and the air smells nice .

I think a walk in fallen leaves is required soon as damp leaves mulching down always smells earthy and nice humous rich composting smell in the forests

have a darling of a day y'all ,

m

Raining here, too. The weatherman says it might get cold enough to snow a bit body.

I agree Soberwolf, it looks pretty set in

Walk in the woods sounds good Mecx

Still quite mild here so no snow for us MLD

Uncomfortable phone call to customer this morning to explain non delivery - it could have gone a lot worse.

I found out what happened, basically someone didn't order in some things that we needed, human error is no biggie, I make mistakes a lot but not telling anyone just makes it so much worse.

I seem to be being avoided by people this morning lol!

I'll ignore you, Della

Walking in the leaves sounds just fine, mex.

Hugs Ruby. I know that feeling all too well.

Hope the phone call went ok, Sao. Hate stuff like that.

I Hope the vet finds out what wrong with your pup, HAF. That's sad.

Got startled out of a dream again this morning. Still groggy and want to go back to dreamland.
