Both links worked for me, Ruby. Appropriate.

Good morning from me! Already at work for the last couple of hours. Had an early meeting. I fly tonight on business.

SoberP, knowing your priorities an communicating them is important. I hope your Hub can adapt quickly. When corporal punishment is engrained it is difficult, frankly, to fully change and really "get it". Best wishes to you whole family, including the furry ones.

I feel decent this morning, and my mind is a liiiittle less panicky and foggy.

Bixbees, glad you're doing well today.

Marty, could you see that first link? On my phone screen all I saw was a gray square that said "plug in not supported."

I see "White Wedding" imbedded in that first post, Ruby.

I checked the thread, there is definitely no one lecturing you SoberP

I must be in the gutter too Bimini as I thought the same. By the way both links worked for me too.

I am sitting in a little diner type place and there are four late teenage girls all talking at 100 miles an hour. Man

Its an unfeasibly nice day today

Is "unfeasibly " a British word/ cockney slang again? Like "canker" - or whatever that last misunderstanding was? ...or just a finger typo?

Hmm, weird that I couldn't see it. I've not had that problem before. Phone issues.

Only after I posted did I see the innuendo there and just decided to let it go

Aww! Cute, Bimini. Black cat still pushes her head into me like that but hard. She's a little bulldozer. Have to try keeping her in as Halloween gets closer because people do bad things to black cats.

Both mine are head butters. Yeh, my cats don't go outside - and my black cat doesn't even have an interest. He is very shy. We don't even get any Trick or Treaters - ever. I've been here for 23 years. Not one.

Spent the morning cheering on some folk I know running the marathon! You can track progress on line. What an achievement, so proud of them!

Been handed a major Gift from Ma Nature.

A Storm Front blasted through here last night, after Cloud buildup yesterday P.M.. So, given that our Driveway will be a Mud Pit from this Regional Quickie, I'm staying out here another day. The Sun broke out, and the Sky is rinsed. Beyond gorgeous. I've popped up early & Sober to watch the Planets, and they've been a Morning stunner.

Heating up Shower Water now, and will figger out - at the speed of Retirement - what to do with this gift called Today. Mebbe just cruise around while staying on Asphalt. Crazy slick Mud here. That stuff that Adobe Bricks are made from. I'm sick of my own 'Cooking', so it might be a late Lunch in Town.

Lotsa Wiley E. Coyote Pix to sort through, but this one was weirdly different. I have no idea what stockpiled all the Branches, but the Desert is intriguing that way.

A lil Desert Music, Maestro...

Good morning (afternoon) all!

I hope everyone has a great day!

I slept like crap last night bc I was on Netflix too late. I guess that just means I'll be nice and sleepy tonight... Yeah right, I'm always up til at least 2 am bc of my work hours.

It looks like a great day! I'm listening to a new sobriety podcast on the way to work- it's called HOME podcast. It's ok but it's not as good as the Bubble Hour. I also subscribed to the AfterParty pod but I haven't listened yet.

Good or bad they all make me think and they keep me focused on sobriety.

I'm sorry you are upset, SoberP, I also did not think you were being attacked. But I bet you are very sensitive right now bc it is such a tough issue and I can tell how much you care and how serious you take it. I hope you come back and see there is nothing but support for you here.

(((Potamus)))

Count me in the gutter group.

A free day sounds awesome, Mesa! I know you'll make the most of it.

Hi Bixbees!

Melina...I need to stop watching stuff before bed too. I had visions of Freddie Mercury in those ridiculous white shorts running through my head all night!

Ok, I'm in with "the gutter group." That's awesome! Brynn, now I have the pic of Freddie in shorts running through my head.

Melina, you're awesome.

Mesa, I love you. Your comment on the gift of today really hit home. A friend of mine who is also in recovery posted something about the same topic on my Facebook today so it's apparently something I need to work on. Just being and appreciating. Thank you.

Baked potato soup for lunch. Fighting a cold and soup hits the spot. With oyster crackers. Yum

Did a run walk. Ran about a mile. Nuff for today's mood.

Fresh Brussels sprouts and pan fried cod for dinner.

I want to sit and catch up on you fine folks a little.
