Mesa, I don't know which of the things in that photo are the most out of my league - Maria S, a Porshe 918 or a night in the Goring Hotel.

Hi Hooooo

You have some good plans going there MrChill, not only with preparing for social situations but having honest conversations with your family. Well done!
Nice wheels MesaMan.
Every time I look out the office window, it is a different type of day out there. Home time soon. Not much planned for the evening. Picked up some Sea Bream for dinner as Mrs B (the veggie) is in work, so will be eating the flesh solo. Might just pan-fry it simply with some summer vegetables.
Well hey, this is my 300th post on SR! And I'm 145 days sober. It amazes me I have made it this far and am confident I will keep it up. In work today, there are plans afoot for a rare staff social outing. I have already planned on taking my car and leaving after the dinner part at the end, giving the inevitable trip to the pub a miss - I planned all of this silently in my head of course!!

Good morning y'all!
Hugs weasel.....I love being able to take back significant dates that were spent in blackout and claiming them for a different purpose. Have a lovely picturesque day!
Nons....my eyes were crossing as I was reading about your love of combing through tax stuff! My brain hurts just thinking about it but I'm so glad you guys are out there for us non tax savvy people!
Behan.....congrats on 145 days! That's getting into some pretty big sober time there! Yay!
Its a lazy day here....the biggest decision I have to make is what color to paint my nails!

Ha ruby rainbow nails sound lovely! I'm going to get them done.....when I try to do them more polish is on my fingers than nails!
And I'm sure Della was momentarily delusional talking about toning it down! (Although it would help me catch up to her!!)

Sending XOXO to Weasel this morning.
I know how hard it is to forgive, especially parents
It has taken me a while too.
Just be kind and good to yourself.
I lost my Mom in April of 2010. I've told my story about the details surrounding her overdose, Ken, but not sure you've read it. I won't rehash it on your thread though, but just know I am thinking of you today, and hope for you to find that place of forgiveness and peace in your heart
