Hi Everyone. Hard to respond to everyone's post, but just wanted to let you guys know that I do read all of them!! And so glad you're here. And that I'm here. And we're all here. 
Weasel - I did want to respond to you, I know you're thinking of your mother today. Hugs esp to you. And I think you're handling yourself with such grace.
It's finally Friday and I have a heck of a day. Trying to get work done...went to a new AA meeting at lunch. I will try to get to that one at least once a week, seems like a good one.

Human relationships are so fraught with miscommunications, no? I spend too much male/female discussion time reiterating that I'm not interested in a relationship, not physical, not BF/GF - not. interested. It seems so simple.
I need to perfect my NO face. I think I'm too friendly. It gets misread - a lot.

Home now. The trip was nice. I bought myself a gift. Had lunch on the water. Spent time away.
Hey Art.... Coincidences? I always smell lilacs and think of my Mom because they are in bloom everywhere this time of year. Well I had to walk under a canopy of lilacs to snap the pic below. Guess I was not alone huh?
My view from my table....
If I could drink a gallon of whiskey I would right now. But I need to keep moving. Going to the mall to get a frozen yogurt.
Sorry I have not been able to keep up. Maybe tomorrow.
Will be back later to check in before bed.

Just to comment. I am not drinking. I made that comment because I wish I could. That's all. Maybe you all are just not used to me saying something like that directly. But today is tough.
No worries. But I do appreciate the checking me and asking. It's important we check in on each other.
Now..... Heading out the door for that yogurt. I got sidetracked with the cats needing a belly scratch.

Hey everyone I have 1 hr till im off to start the weekend and wanted to thank all of you. The weekend bus has been an absolute blessing. Each Friday is getting easier and easier.
I was an everyday drinker but Friday was the start of the insanity for the rest of the week. You are all amazing people. Looking forward to trying out some more of the things I used to love doing before the monster almost succeeded at making me forget.

No i guess not but these fried eggs sunny side up in a toasted muffin are pretty spectacular
Hang tough K , new day tomoz and a sober morning to look forwards to , just a normal saturday , today is a friday to get through , you've done plenty of them and you'll do plenty more .
Henry doesn't know what day it is and he gets through , we can learn a lot from our animals .
