I'm not sure why but all the sudden I feel the need for a caramel cone?
Where can I acquire one of these delicious sounding treats?

The grocery store!!

I guess there's one with almonds, too - I haven't seen it yet - it's called Caramel Cone Explosion.

I'm in. I dreamt about pouring myself a glass of wine last night. And in my dream... I *didn't* drink it! Even my subconscious is in for this ride. Just have to get past tonight's trigger-laden date night with my d.h. Probably time to fess up and let him know what is going on.

I'm in .. I had 3 oysters during the week. They were amazing. Swimming in champagne. I never thought to check for alcohol in food. av has been awakened so I'm on high alert to keep safe.

Going to the pictures (movies) in a mo' with the woman who looks after our credit control at work. It's an open air cinema, on a rooftop which shows a degree of optimism if nothing else - this is rainy old London after all. Far from the Madding Crowd is the film.

I have been there once before but it got dark early that time - it will still be light when the film starts this time. I suppose it will still be OK

I am in.

This has not been the easiest of weeks. The last time my family went away and I was left alone, I went bananas. I wanted to avoid that.

I found that I could not relax this week either. Sometimes when I would be watching television or reading, I would start thinking "oh I haven't talked to my dad in a while. Better call him or he will think I'm drinking". Or "better not spend too long in the shower. If my mom calls while I am in there, she will think I am on the bottle". I did talk to my dad this afternoon and he said I am being ridiculous. He also said "you did well. Well done".

I had a job interview yesterday so we will see how it goes. I only made two mistakes: slept in this mornng, I was exhausted but still on time for work, and left the house with the heat on so had to dash back at break time. So I have proved I can take care of myself, and things...

I am just back from an aftercare meeting. One guy came up to me after and said "it's great to see you here and great to see you looking so well". Do I not always look well Another lady came up to me and said "it's great you are doing so well and looking so much happier". I didn't realise my feelings were writen all over my face.

When I got to the session there was a lighted candle on the table. We never have candles. Our leader told us "this is in memory of Jane, a fellow member who some of you knew, who was buried yesterday at the age of 35 as a result of her alcoholism".

So there is always something to think about...

Good to see everyone! Lola, we're mostly alike with the issues we face but I can understand. Maybe there will be transplants since it's a military town.

Brynn, hang in there. Take a deep breath and think of caramel cone.

Saoutchik, have fun at the movie. I like Sylvester and the Magic Pebble! It's a great book. Phantom Tollbooth is grabbing my interest almost more than my son.

I do not want to go to the office. I've got several things I absolutely have to take care of that if I have to be stuck in traffic won't get done.

Tetra, whenever I'm unhappy with something my children tell me I have my "mad face" on, even when I am not frowning. Some of us wear our feelings on our faces.

I hope your interview went well. I also wish for you some peace from the distracting thoughts about disappointing your parents. You deserve a moment of peace in the shower without thinking you're disappointing your mother by not answering a ringing telephone. I don't have any answers but it has to jangle your nerves to have all that going on.

And thank you for your "bananas" comment because it reminded me that I'm out of my craving killer favorite ice cream, chunky monkey, which is banana ice cream with chocolate and walnuts. Must get a pint.

And so, I will go pick up my husbands car from the shop where they fixed the brakes.

Hi all,

Welcome to all newcomers. Stay on the bus and pipe in if the mood takes ye.

I hope you enjoyed the open air cinema experience Sao. And you seem to be on a date with a certain lady friend I believe you may have mentioned here before: excellent!

Ruby, you sound very busy today! I hope you get some time for yourself.

Tetra, best of luck with job interview.

My body feels heavy today. Showering was an effort. Could this still be PAWS? I'm considering a GP trip to get myself checked physically. I need to get more excercise. I wonder do I need medication? I would be reluctant.

Well, neurotic rant over.

I hope everyone is keeping well as we slowly bus to the weekend together, supporting each other in our sobriety as we negotiate the beauty and madness of life.

As for our bus driver? Rumour has it he is on vacation, yet he diligently arrives with our transport on time!

B

Probably a good idea to see GP Behan its probably nothing serious but it will give you peace of mind.

She didn't stand me up this time. Good film too. Carey Mulligan was excellent .

This is the cinema, I took a pic
