Well, my entire house has gone viral, including myself. Boo! I do not do 'sick' very well and I am missing out on almost all your threads
Husband will return all nice and energized from a trip this evening...knock-on-wood. He has a game this weekend so I will put on sunglasses, white jeans, and face plant in the grassy sunshine.
Despite changing fashion rules meaning that white can be worn year round...I wear white pants especially during pool season. White pants give me child-like happiness
**Hey?! Did anyone read about the family who bought a house (somewhere on a golf course in the Midwest) only to find out after moving in that it had a brown recluse spider infestation...like in the thousands?

I'm gonna have to cook the rest of my bacon before the wife eats all raw. Yes, she does. She tells me cooking it is "bad" for me. Once this pack is done I will have fulfilled my bacon quota for 2014.

We seriously lost our dinner somewhere in this house. I bought chicken and the girls think it is funny to hide the chicken...somewhere. Soon enough.
We do have bacon however. Bacon for dinner.

Just had the most awesome BLT on toasted sour dough bread. I don't think any other food would have satisfied me today as much as that sandwich. I wouldn't have traded it for the best steak or lobster. It was a true bacon of light ( with nothing light about it). Bacon rocks. Happy sober weekend all!

I'm in for the weekend. The type of weather we're experiencing this weekend is a trigger for me: Sunny days, low humidity and general late Spring weather always put me in a good mood, and when I'm naturally feeling good, I often want to enhance the mood with alcohol.

Home now, let the weekend begin!
Going to make some pizza dough tonight for grilled pizza tomorrow. Quinoa salad ala Ruby, maybe another angel food cake. I am pretty sure the Dry Rub Black Forest Bacon should be cooked as well.
I am going to get all my work done tonight, because tomorrow I am spending the day at my favorite beach with my dog. I haven't been in a long time and the weather and tide are going to be genius.

I'm in too Feeling pretty good on this Friday evening. Planning on heading out to dinner soon. My son is out for the evening and I may have to pick him up later tonight; a task I don't mind now that I'm sober It's nice to not feel the crazies on a Friday...phew, it's been a long time coming!

Great posts today! So much fun to read. I am currently at an end of year party for my son at one of those places with giant inflatable things. I wish I could say that I enjoy these things, but I don't. I can hear the av. I will smash it but I don't know how long I'll be able to stay. Going to the beach with my dog sounds like heaven. 100 screaming kids is a form of torture to me. Just had to vent...

I'm home safe from the school party. House is quiet; sitting here with the dogs at my feet and my juice and club soda in my glass. Soon heading to bed. Hope the evening was good for everyone. See you on the sunny side tomorrow morning.
