Well... I must reveal my true nature. Beneath the leather and behind the guitar is a big goofy GEEK!

I like Alton Brown. :-D

VC and Goat -- Cool. I love Emeril (BAM!) and Alton Brown too. I print out recipes from Food Network all the time. I have this HUGE 3 inch binder with recipes I clip from newspapers, magazines and from online. I have a divider between sections similar to cookbooks; i.e., appetizers, salads, etc. Do you guys watch Iron Chef? They just finished the last IC competition. I get huge yuks from the Jeffrey guy reviewer. What a dweeb (Goat-Geek is cool, dweeb is nerdy. :-)!

I am thinking about making white chicken chili this weekend. I don't have the recipe on this computer, but I will post it once I find it my book. It is pretty tasty.

We had pizza tonight and I ordered tirmamusi to go with it but didn't eat it. YET. I love desert more than ever since I stopped drinking.

Well tonight, I am making chicken breats marinated in this new honey dijon vinegrette I found. With small boiled white potatos and some kind of veggie.
I need to get back on my lean and green diet. I will wait till after the new year. HA! New years resolution. I have alot this year. More liek New Years miracles. But they will come as long as I do what I am suppose to.

No dietary changes for me for the new year. I eat pretty sanely now altho more greens probably would be a good idea. Tonight is lamb chops (arm, not loin -- they're cheaper), rice and a salad.

Wink

Me too. I would like to drop about 20 pounds. I FINALLY kept a few resolutions this year, maybe I can do it again for 2010............... Until then, however, I'll have brisket tonight, with baked potato, slathered with gravy, & MAYBE a piece of key lime pie to insure that the damage HAS been done.....

Some people might call them somewhat gamey. It is definitely a different taste than beef. I love it, especially on the grill. Had a friend a long time ago who thought she didn't like lamb cuz her parents had it almost every Sunday with mint jelly. I served it for her grilled and she loved it. Turned out it was the mint jelly she hated!! LOL
