VC-Wow! for the pics. Gotta wonder where you dig those things up!!

Steve, If you didn't eat lamb, living in Wales & all, they'd probably string you up, right? When I was there I never did try any sheep's milk cheese. Are there any good ones that you particularly like? (I swear I'm half mouse!)

I don't think of lamb as being gamey, per se. But then again I hunt, so when I think "gamey" I usually think of pheasant or something.

I think of lamb as softer, more tender, fattier, and more flavorful than beef.

If you wanna try it the easy way, go to your favorite Indian restaurant and order something like lamb vindaloo.

If you wanna be braver, get a rack of lamb with mint sauce.

There's just something magic about mint and lamb... I could go for that right now.

Pig trotters were/are a pigs foot..complete with shin/lower leg.
gross...apparently you knaw on them......

As for hauling.....hauling is pulling loaded trailers...like this...

I think you call them semi,s ......at the moment all im hauling is turkeys for processing....dead birds for packing and shipping out to stores.
normally i pull 25 ton at a time and at the moment they are all going to wales because i live quite close.

Thats your lesson for today vc..........enjoy your sunday.

I always wanted a semi (I think technically the "semi" is the part that pulls the trailer). I think it'd be a lot more fun to tour the country in a bobtail than it would be to haul one of those RVs

Alas, I am prevented from ever having a Class A license in this country due to my history of being stopped by the porcine ones whilst not sober.

Today is a continuation of gift baskets day for me....

Yesterday's production was: 4 fruitcakes, penuche fudge, pecan sandies with fudge topping, meringue cookies with cranberries and cherries and sugar cookies that still need to be iced.

Today I hope to be more productive. I need to get these baskets in the mail!

I know Abergavenny

Shock Ive never tried pig's trotters (but I wouldn't mind if I had the chance lol) I know they were popular years ago. And sweetmeats are meant to be very tasty. Sweetmeat is either the lamb pancreas or brain (im told).

I had very ordinary chicken and chips today as ive been too busy too cook.
