Morning Overs

SE, I’m glad you have an excellent OB (had to look that up! ) It’s reassuring to have an experienced doctor.

FBL, it will be very interesting for your zoom meeting. Especially meeting some of the original show from American top 40.

Sassy, it’s good they give you all precautions before the infusion. I’m glad they’re working out.
toots, I’m hoping it was just a one off too. Yep.

It was a slight concern for me having a funny turn, so I’ve left details on my file on the NHS app the hospital send appointments and correspondence to me through. I started wondering if it was my fault and I’d done the injections wrong (but that’s typical of me). I knew really that I’d done them same as before and I just had a reaction this time.
I’ve read that you can be fine with them, then just have a reaction.
There was no social distancing with my epi pens, I had them next to me just in case!

Happy Independence Day!

Anyone for cake?

Take care and Be safe my friends. xxxx

Had a blast on the American Top 40 zoom meeting last night. It went on for nearly 3 hours! So great to finally meet some of the great people who worked on the show over the years. Casey's daughter, Kerri Kasem, was there too! Quite the thrill for this "music nerd."

Have a Wonderful Weekend, overs!

Morning Overs

FBL, that sounds a good evening spent.

Dee thanks, I’m hoping it was a one off and won’t happen again.

Thanks Purps,

Thanks PJ.

It’s funny how I don’t think it’s strange now I see people on tv being interviewed with masks on.

Hubby and I went for a drive yesterday and came across a farm shop stall on the roadside. I bought a few fruit and veggies and it felt safe. You put you money for the goods in a money tin. It was all very social distancing and pleasant. First time I’ve bought anything from a shop/stall since March, everything has been on line. Thank goodness for the internet.

Very windy today. Won’t be going very far, maybe Rio de la Greenhouse, cucumbers are growing very nicely. Tomatoes are slow, plenty of the plants flowering, we just need a bit of sun on them.

Take care and be safe my friends. xxxx

An early good morning, Overs. It’s 63 F degrees here at the moment so pleasant. As it’s still dark o’clock I don’t know what kind of a day it will be

Hoping all of you have a healthy and happy Sunday!

We've got our hottest stretch of weather so far this year. It was 92F yesterday, with more of the same for the week ahead. Tough sleeping last night, so I got up and watched some pretty good fireworks shows from the neighbors. It finally settled down about midnight.

Have a Super Sunday, overs!

At the beach this week. Lots of drunks setting off fireworks last night, though I fell asleep pretty early. Got up to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic, which I always enjoy.

Have a good day all!

Had a bad lapse on the 3rd. Still suffering. The pain will help me remember that the only thing I get from drinking is suffering. Mrs seems to be cutting me some slack over this. Guess I better look for a July 2020 thread and start over.

Good morning Overs.
We have Percy the pigeon in an improvised cage in our kitchen. I saw him not acting normal and went out and basically just picked him up. A minute later a cat came through the garden. We are guessing from the wounds, Percy escaped an attack from the sparrow hawk.
Have a good day everyone.

Poor Percy, I'm sure he will soon recover with your ministrations!

Charon, perhaps you need more help from those closer to their start of the journey, I hope you get the support you need and we see you here with fully a year of sobriety.

13C here. Scottish summer. Woohoo! Can't wait to get to the Spanish house at the end of the month, currently low 30s there!

Morning Overs

Charon, all the best, you can do this.

Andy, nice one on rescuing Percy.

Our electric went off in the village and other places yesterday for around 7 hours. A tree had fell on and damaged main power cables. It’s funny how we rely on all our amenities. I was pleased when it came back on.

Love to all, take care and be safe my friends. xxxx

Mags, hard to imagine what life without electricity was like! Apparently the biologics have the risk of an allergic reaction. They give me an infusion of cortisone plus an antihistamine plus acetaminophen before my infusions to prevent those

Charon, best wishes on your journey.

Andy, Percy is a fortunate pigeon.

we haven’t seen much of Itchy since he got his Tesla so I’m betting he sleeps in it and spends his days driving it

Have a good Monday to all!
