Morning.

Well the therapy session went hostile pretty quickly but Mirko reined it in and it ended much better than it started. I hope that things are going to make a turn for the better, but I've been here before. I can still hope though.

I got to pick out my puppie yesterday. I won't be able to go get her till mid-september but she's mine. Two weeks old and already stole my heart. Meet Ruthie (short for Ruthless Heart thRobber)

Great office space FBL. You have a friendly face.
The pup looks cute, Charon.
Posted elsewhere as well, but I love the image. A 10k walk along part of Adelaide's coastline-taken a Grange- where I was born.

Morning Overs

Charon, beauuuuutiful little pup.

Thanks Dee!

FBL, Lovely airy new office for you. Your own bathroom too! You’ll never want to go home!

Sassy, I hope your hectic day worked out well yesterday.

Great pic PJ, it’s nice you’re near the sea and beach.

Have a good Thursday and take care my friends. xxxx

Mags, I got my steps in yesterday hoofing it to the guard shack a few times yesterday! Luckily the timing worked out well. Poor Sassykitty had two teeth pulled (last October it was 4 or 5).

Hi Andy, how goes it?

PJ, that looks spectacular!

Hi Suze and Purps

FBL, nice big office! Looks very well equipped and setup. You did that very quickly - and are clearly well-organized.

Charon, that is an adorable pup! I imagine you will be very happy to get her home :-)

Have a good day to all.

Thanks everyone! Just love the new office. Now I have to start mapping out some new walking routes. We're kinda out in the country, so should be plenty of wildlife out here.

Have a Thunderous Thursday, overs!

Great office setup FBL! So much room to fill up. You might want to hang a bird feeder in that tree outside the big window for some bird amusement. Envious of your private bathroom.

So cute Charon.

Great photo PJ.

Best wishes for a good day all!

Morning.

Nice office Paul. I like seeing wildlife.

Things are quiet here. Mrs & I, with help from the therapist, are working on improving our interactions. I hate to get my hopes up, but ... One more try.

Morning Overs

Charon, I hope it works out for you and your Mrs.

FBL, I agree with Star, a bird feeder would be lovely for you to see when you rest your eyes for a moment from the computer screen.

Sassy, I hope Sassykitty is feeling better after having two teeth removed. I smiled at you ‘hoofing’ it.lol. I’ve heard the term ‘on the hoof’.

My injections didn’t go as smoothly as normal yesterday. I got a reaction at the four injection sites and my blood pressure went low and felt waffy and thought I was going to collapse (more waffy than normal, ) My blood pressure went back up gradually. I am aware I could have an anaphylaxis attack from them so I’m always prepared with my Epi pens, just in case. Fortunately I didn’t need them. I haven’t reported it to the hospital yet, I don’t want my treatment stopped, it’s doing me so much good. I may just make them aware of it.

I could never have done any of this grown up stuff if I’d been drinking.

Have a Good Friday my friends, be safe. xxxx (I thought it was Saturday even though I know it’s Friday )

Mags sorry to hear that, let's hope it and off.

Charon, what a cutie, reminded me of when my Jack Russell had pups a they were so cute! My Avi is my do Molly, she's ten now nd the sweetest dog ever, everyone who meets her falls in love!

FBL cool new office - and a private cludgie! What more can a fella want?!

Sass, hope Sassykitty is feeling better, my spud had all but a few bottom front teeth removed ( vet said that would stop his tongue lolling out!) And he was ***** dory. I know Sassykitty has additional health issues though so I hope this doesn't cause her further problems.

All ok in Tootsville (current pop 3) got a twinge in my back yesterday which came back this morning, so off golf today to give it chance to recoup. It's wet and miserable anyway so no great loss.

Our offices are officially closed in observance of the Independence Day holiday. However, I'll be here for awhile, trying to catch up on things that got set aside during the big move. I will also have to catch a nap today. I've been asked to participate in a panel discussion on Zoom tonight at 8pm. This weekend marks the 50th Anniversary of the radio countdown show American Top 40, which was hosted for many years by the late Casey Kasem. Casey was one of our very first customers and remained one until he got too sick. I grew up listening to American Top 40, which was the perfect training ground for my current occupation. So, it was an honor that I've been asked to sit-in tonight with some of the folks who actually worked on the show back in the day.

Have a Fantastic Friday, overs!

Sassykitty is doing well but is a bit hyper from the fentanyl patch she has for a week. Otherwise good!

Mags, I hope you don’t have more reactions When I get my infusions they give me an antihistamine and Tylenol an hour before, then an IV of hydrocortisone and then finally infusion of the drug. I gather they are trying to prevent allergic reactions. It has worked so far.

FBL, that’s great!

Happy POETS Day to all

Hi Overs -

Toots & Dee - Thx for the ginger suggestion. Hope your back heals quickly Toots.

C - adorable puppy! Sending you and the Mrs. optimistic thoughts

FBL - Nice! enjoy settling in...

Mags - oh wow. I’m sorry that the injections are giving you some trouble. Echoing your statement about ‘thank goodness I’m sober now so I can handle what is on my plate

Sass - Sending hugs to you and SassyKitty. Glad you got your steps despite the rain.

PJ - Nice photo and hike!

V - Thx! Hugs to you. Miss you and hope you are well.

Today I’m 7 weeks and go to the Dr on Monday to see little bean for the first time. (I hope!!!)))

Good news: I have a very good OB because my first pregnancy had some unique challenges. (he’s a bit famous in the area with the midwives and other OBs for being the most experienced and knowledgeable dr). I’m happy to be back with him and away from the fertility clinic that was a bit of circus.

Nausea unfortunately keeps progressing. I was only able to eat a few crackers yesterday. (But feeling better at the moment!!!)

that’s my baby. Hope you have a good 4th!

I remember American top 40 with Casey-K. About 45y ago, driving around rural South Australia as a kid with an Uncle/Aunt/cousin - in a huge old ford with a huge old caravan. The local radio station played it.
I might be just getting old.
