Hey guys,
Not caught up yet but working at continuing our Colorado adventure, life, the universe, and everything to borrow a phrase from good ol Doug, despite deciding to quarantine for another year or two until this US population stops believing everything posted by bots on the Internet. It put a real crimp in our planned sodding of our yard by our JOAT who is a month overdue. (Jack Of All Trades - that's clever and on his cards and truck window) We really know no one here, but that's OK. We are streamlining storage and our garage, and plan many more trips. I also just took down my website and have to build a new one at GoDaddy.
1st world problems.

Toots,
I hope it all goes off without a hitch!

SE,
Thanks. Glad you're beginning to feel there's a light at the end of the tunnel. And folks helping you get there. You guys sound like a great couple, and marvelous parents.

Sassy,
Nothing to be jealous about. It's a car, and new tech. So's yours! Do go test drive one when possible.

Star,
So glad to know you're OK with your virus filled job dealing with the public. I am trying to tamp down my anger at how badly Americans behave under pressure, especially when I want to shop but no one's wearing masks in stores here. Now we in El Paso County Colorado are in the biggest hot spot in the state and rising faster than the first time. I just read that most of those posts on social media pushing selfishness like little kids who just learned the word no, are sent by bots. You know where my outlet is and my topics on Facecrook are where I can discuss religion and politics. I too appreciate the rules here. We all need a place to exercise our kindness muscles, and let others exercise on us.

Mags,
Don't worry I'm fine too.

PJ,
I hope all three of you can all help each other chill. Are "Walkies" walks, hikes, either or both?

I've been redoing my CD storage catching up on ripping as mp3s to computer, and then getting them in my music folder.

FBL,
You're really keeping busy with the office move and your personal helping platforms.
Hi all I missed and of course Hi to you Dee.

Yes my toy is fun. It's beautiful. Had I waited just a couple of months they just dropped the price for the model Y $3000bucks - $3k!!! I'm going to call since it has only been two weeks or so since we paid for it. I'll ask if they are refunding for folks within two weeks of the price drop. I doubt it, but I've learned over the years that if I don't ask, no one can ever say yes!

Be safe my friends.

I forgot, Jaws! Loved it. I would love if they did a "Jaws" remake with the same script, same locations, and similar actors, but with today's CGI and stunt tech - it would be amazing. Even then, we both thought the mechanical shark "Bruce" was too obviously a mechanical construct. It would be all too tel redone today. Like the velociraptors in the Jurrassic franchise.

Morning Overs

SE, yaay, I’m so pleased you managed to eat without feeling nauseous. I chuckled over baby K blowing raspberries at her baby sibling in your tummy. I guess there’ll be much of that when they meet. Plus hugs, lots of hugs.

Itchy, I’m happy for you and your wife. Life is good my friend.

PJ, I hope your friend can come to terms with the past memories.

We’re off to the seaside today. My sister and her hubby have rented a caravan mid-week by the sea. They’ve been shielding since March and just started out, going for walks. So we’re going to ‘safely distance’ visit. I think it’s too cold for a paddle though.

Have a wonderful Wednesday my friends. Take care and be safe xxxx

Morning all, first time in a hotel since the outbreak, feels strange, we've decided against maid service for the duration rather than add to our risk. It's been wonderful spending time with my mum again though. We have another 12 days before we're due to fly to Spain so won't know yet of any plan changes, but hubby says they're letting us book into the flight which is a good sign.

Andy - yes! Bostin! 🤣

Mags hope you enjoy your seaside visit

Itchy I'm sure you & Mrs Itchy can huckle down for the duration

SE, I so want a burrito now! I'm glad your sickness is easing and the pregnancy seems to be progressing well.

Sass, take care as restrictions ease. We want you safe and well.

Peej, you are a good friend.

Star keep safe my friend

FBL I love that radio show, followed it for a while after your last visit!

Be safe everyone.

SE, happy to hear you were able to eat!

Toots, I am being very careful! Even though Maine is doing well compared to most states, I live in the hardest hit county in the southern part. And I know things can change rapidly. I am not going into stores or restaurants at all so it’s mostly going for a drive to get out of here. Sadly we have a small number of very vocal residents who don’t think they will get the virus and won’t wear masks or take care in any other way so I am very careful to avoid all of them especially.

Have a good day, friends!

Not hiking Itch- but a solid walk.
Surrounded by 'burbs. A big playground at the flat end of the gorge- school holidays, hundreds there.
Said friend announced when I picked her up in my car that her week of pity partying was over. Strength in numbers.

PJ, I’m glad your friend is feeling better.

Toots, enjoy your hotel stay.

Sassy, it is nice just to get out and drive isn’t it.

I have an hospital appointment with the Immunologist this morning but received a letter saying it would be by the telephone. Which is good or I’d be on the road now.

Have a good Thursday, my friends. xxxx

Morning Overs

Sun’s trying to get out here, it’s going to be a hot one today.

We’re meeting in-laws for a walk around Normanby Country Park this morning, before it gets too hot and busy. It’ll be nice and quiet for the first few hours.

Have a fantastic Friday my friends. Take care. xxxx

Stopped on our way home last night and will play golf in Jedburgh today before the last leg of the journey home. Had a lovely time with my mum, even plated golf with her and my nephew, who had travelled down from the midlands just to see us. we managed a visit with my brother and SIL as well which was lovely. Haven't slept much in hotel beds, but I don't have much driving to do today.

Have a Fab Friday all,

Went in for my bi-monthly hair buzz yesterday. After I got home, I decided to just shave it all off (see current avi for results)! I'd been wanting to go "full Kojak" for several years now, but just never did it. I figure what I save on haircuts, I can now spend on razors.

Have a Fabulous Friday, overs!

Lookin’ good, FBL!

Toots, happy to hear you had a nice visit.

Mags, enjoy the walk :-)

Andy, hope you have a good day, too.

Itchy, to test drive a Tesla I gather I would need to go to Boston. Since I can’t afford one, better to not give my willpower a trial!

Have a good day to all

FBL, I like the new look!

I saw a black duck with dark blue tinges on it in the park yesterday. The colours are stunning.

Have a good Saturday my friends. xxxx
