Happy monday! The northern uprising is coming to a head tonight! We're on the brink of winning the NBA basketball championship! A win tonight and our team is the champion. I just hope they do it cause its been a few decades since any sports team here has won a championship. We really need a win and something to be proud of. And winning on home court is even better.

Another 24 hours please
I've had a very stressful work day today. Yet, it was a great feeling not wanting to run home and drink.
I fixed a healthy salad for dinner, read the posts on here tonight and relaxing now.
Congrats to us all !!!!

Wow on NOT going to a Big Book Meeting because you are NEW??? I was in a Rehab for a month . My first and only time. From the first Saturday they drove us ladies to the same BB MTG that I still attend regularly .
So many, many treatment Centers come to this excellent Mtg! First thing CASA (my Rehab in Pasadena) asked me to do, was read The Doctor's Opinion. What?? And what does this mean??
That's why we ALL go to study, to discuss, to ask any 'ol questions we have. Pinky, resources & meetings are Online. Reach out my friend.

Salvation Army driver picked me up and drove me to Appleton VA and back.
Found a baby squirrel thrown from its nest...but too cold and fly ridden so I gave it a quick burial in a trash bin.
Bed bugs huge one found on my neck full of blood.
going to throw out my mattress and box spring...tell property manager and get an exterminator.
Got check from payee she will cut a check for new bedding after exterminator comes through.
Cat's coat is coming through hasn't been bitten in a while.
Cashed check...bought cigarettes.
Helped neighbor watched her tip over from her walker....her friend, a pedestrian, and I helped her up....walked her dog home....she got home fine.
Brought sweets to the firehouse and to the halfway house guys.
Wrote nice message to my niece who graduated.
Busy day.
Good sober night
