I'm so sorry that happened Erfra. But you know something? You can sleep soundly tonight secure in the knowledge that you are a good person. Can't say the same for the thief. And I agree with Suze, Pinky.... You deserve much better than that. I know you're on your way to the meeting now which is excellent. Staying sober is the most important thing right now. It will provide the foundations for the happy future you deserve. Thinking of you xxxx
In other news, the dog and I just found a missing dog!! The owner was distraught and I was looking and looking and just about to give up hope when hey presto! Marley the missing dog sprung up out of brambles and let me get a lead on her collar before bolting off again. The owner cried when they were reunited and the hours of searching for Marley means I have walked over 20,000 steps today! Win win. Lovely way to end the weekend xxx

It’s 100 with big storms coming ! I guess I should get my affairs in order
24 for me, for sure. I’m sitting in the sun and I am the only person within 275 miles that is doing that. No traffic, no birds, just the sound of central air and the mind-blowing record heat . I’m enjoying it for the probably 10 minutes before I burn. Then back to the freezer indoors and streaming on cell data
I will go broke..but I’ll get to watch Father Brown so all is well!
So glad to be here, sober, and done with all my work for the weekend. Lots of things popped up but all is ok. Now, where is the battery-powered lantern? Haha, on the plus side these storms are associated with a cold front that will knock this heat completely out tonight. I would be ok if this was the end for the summer!
