Thank you Purple. I’m safe. A big line blew by very quickly and we were lucky here. Just some rain and nice cool air now—I hope! Keeping one eye open. It was the hottest day we have had in years today. Tomorrow will feel great

Mags, I know! Every couple of months ,after my Saturday Meeting, a bunch of us go to our regular place for a nice Mexican meal. Yummy!

Oh my gosh, after laughing so loud, we finally thought we should just go to a private area. Funny how over the years, the Staff greets us and brings us to "our room". Inevitably someone new to the group will comment something like , "We all don't act like we're sober!"

Anyone new reading this, along with all the changes you are going through today. You too will be able to go out and have FUN! Our restaurant's name is Margaritas BTW. The irony is not lost on us ....

Suze, you speak the truth.

Pinky, living LIFE Sober is something many of us thought would Never Happen. You are a Miracle!

Something else, I am an AAer, the Big Book does NOT tell us that a relapse, some call a "slip up" IS part of our recovery process.

Stick to your meeting & "Stick With the Winners". Do you have a Sponsor to guide you through the 12 Steps? A great Big Book Meeting is SO helpful. Just my suggestions.

Stay here & connected, we understand & yes .... truly care my friend!

Thank you
I don't have a sponsor no. My local group is only small. The meeting yesterday was in the city and a lot bigger. I did share and felt better. They gave me a couple of numbers and told me to especially contact one as her story was very similar.
I messaged her and we are going to speak in the week. She is doing a main share in a couple of weeks so need to try and make the meeting if I'm not working
I can't realistically go to this meeting regularly as it's too far away
I will try and go to a big book meeting, but someone told me it's not for new people only ones who have got a lot of sobriety
