Looks like the hot & humid weather will be returning for a few days. Oh well, it IS summer!

Got my Country Singles book off to the printer yesterday. Now it's on to the next project(s).

Have a Thunderous Thursday, overs!

FBL- your pic reminds me of Clive James, an Aussie expat living in Britian- who as a very smart journo was good at writing social commentary.

I always like the fact you are doing stuff you like.
Got all my art supplies, cleaned out my studio- getting excited (THAT has not happened much)

Morning overs

PJ, I know what you mean. Fbl I thought you reminded me of someone too, in a nice way.

Toots, I know what you mean about discombobulated. A lot of it happening down here in Little North Lincolnshire at the mo. It was like driving abroad on my way home from work yesterday., the grass in the park and verges and also Stockshill in our village, well it is so dried out it’s yellow. no lush green grass.

Just heard on tv to take care with your water, have showers instead of baths, give the garden sprinklers a rest. A bit of sun and we collapse in this country. Never seem prepared even with all the technology for long term weather forecasts.

I hope it’s a good day for us all today. xx

Good morning Overs.

We are going to see a lawyer this morning. Our Nemesis is saying we caused the accident and therefore his injuries. His problem is that he was conscious and talked too much at the scene of the accident. The police have it on record that he was dizzy and therefore not in control of his vehicle. We don't need this ...

Have a good day everyone.

Andy I imagine he saw one of these ambulance chaser adverts, called the number and they convinced him he had a hope. As you say, not what you need at the moment on top of your other troubles. Hopefully a voice of common sense will be listened to.

Sorry about that, Andy. Sounds like he doesn't have much of a case.

Have a Fantastic Friday, overs!

PJ, happy for you

Andy, that’s a bummer but having the police on your side should help!

Have a happy POETS Day to all.

I’ll be praying that justice is swift and sure, Andy.

Perhaps the man is desperate to pin the blame on somebody—anybody else, because if he is found at fault at his age he might well lose his license, and the prospect of that leaves him frantic.

I’m glad the cops got a good assessment of the situation.

It happened to me once.....I got quite a scare after a woman I hit decided to blame me and claim compensation for her kids being traumatised. She admitted at the scene that it was her fault....told me a whole story.....so when she tried it on, I did a stat dec reciting everything she had told me.

They were attempting to sue me for a lot of money.
After the legally notorised letter went to the lawyer....they dropped it.

And you are getting a lawyer on board.....good....best thing to do.
WIshing you all the best love.

And Hi Guys. s

There will always be some who seek to exploit any situation for money.
Late Friday night and it is raining- which is a very good thing.

Good morning Overs.

Going to the lawyer was a good idea. He laughed went we said the other driver was blaming us, the lawyer can't wait to see the justification. He also pointed out all the money we have already spent on getting to hospital appointments, we were just going to suck it up but ...

Have a good day everyone.

Hi overs - sorry, been ages since I checked in! Since given my redundancy notice, my employers have been keeping me very busy lol - the irony! Anyway, just keeping on going from day to day and keeping irons in as many fires as possible and gathering courage to ask questions that might just lead me to a new employment role in the future - all good. I haven't had a chance to catch up on all the posts, but I hope you are all well.

I’m glad things are going well even in the face of the redundancy notice, FG!
