Morning class.
Heading to work and the countdown has begun on my stay-cation. T-minus two work days left. Have a lot on my list to get done in that time though so it will be longer days. Weird how long days aren’t an issue when you’re reward will be seven days off. Lol. Can’t wait.
Lillian - I know exactly where you are and how hard that was to talk yourself off that ledge. That’s really digging deep and using your tools. Amazing job. ❤️

When I entered the recovery program in July 2016..my goals were an income, a perm.'t place to live, sobriety, finalise divorce with no grief to all, car license and general health- burns and weight. Except the D ...
Now I will, after working hard for 2 years...get my driver's license back. I gave myself 2 years sober (so very close) b4 doing the assessment, GPreview, specialist D/A review. If all goes well with paperwork. My world will get bigger. I can only ride my bike so far- and for so long, especially in hot weather.
I can start to go to Night time meetings, visit friends, and stuff.
SR has been instrumental in this-especially COM '16. Thankyou all.
Next- a car.

♥You know....that line doesn't work for me when my AV goes off....I have to tell myself something a little different...booze will only make it better for five minute and then I will be in hell. Complete and total hell...
I can survive a bad day, but I don't know that I get to come back from hell again. Not willing to risk it...

Meditation for the Day
The joy of true fellowship shall be mine in full measure. I will revel in the joy of real fellowship. There will come back a wonderful joy, if I share in fellowship now. Fellowship among spiritually minded people is the embodiment of God's purpose for this world. To realize this will bring me a new life joy. If I share in humanity's joy and travail, a great blessing will be mine. I can truly live a life not of earth, but a heaven life here and now.
Prayer for the Day
I pray that I may be helped and healed by true spiritual fellowship. I pray that I may sense His presence in spiritual fellowship with His children.

Night guys. Tonight’s AA mtg was a tradition mtg, which I usually dislike, but it was tradition 3 which talks about the fact that only YOU can decide if you are an alcoholic and the fact that no matter how bad you’ve been, AA will always take you. I found it comforting.

Tonight was dinner out and I didn’t have to come home and make breakfast and lunch for hubby to take to work in the morning. Man a TOTAL night off 
Now I’m in bed watching Good Eats. The hag left me alone today so it’s been a pretty good day! 😁

Got my license...despite petty beaurocrats (?) being big pains...went to and fro to their office 3 times, 8 phone calls...but I got it.
Then I purchased a car.
Almost happy..it does not seem quite real..everything worked as I planned today.
