I’m late the party on the introvert/extrovert discussion BUT....
Does everyone remember their Myers Brigg letters when we took the test? It’s ok if you didn’t.
Well the scale on introversion/extroversion runs from 0% to 100%. If you’re 51% introvert...you’re considered “I” but not by much. You can be a little bit of both.
Also, introversion isn’t the same as being social It’s whether you gain energy by being alone or being with people. I think Apple said this. Even strong introverts can be very social butterflies but they tend to tire at parties after a while. They also don’t usually like idle chit chat. If you get an introvert talking about something meaningful to them...they can talk your ear off.
Now, if you’re 100% introvert like me...we plan our escape moments after we get to the party. My husband and I have a code word and when it’s mixed in the conversation....it means get me outta here because I’m exhausted.
I got about an hour of conversation in me without alcohol, and I can’t wait to leave. This may be more than introversion...lol!
My problems with alcohol do intertwine with social anxiety. If you met me though, it would not show right away. Introverts can put up a great front.
Gotta go back to work. Peace,

Not sure B, of exact date...
feeling better- after a big sleep. Goig to a meeting- 20k ride, no gym as my head is still sore. That happens with lots of physical stuff (yesterday was about 40k riding in very demanding conditions) and stress.
Stupid something. Someone needs to do something about stuff.

I had to google cheese doodle..we call then something different- although forgotten what, burger rings are a species.
No meeting- the small 'dache started turning into a large one with bike riding. Got bloods done and went to library.
Watching a doco on the evolution of coffee as a cultural mainstay. In some middle eastern quarters, centuries ago- coffee was considered a sin. Apparently it first origin in modern history is Ethiopia, where it sill grows wild (?) in the mountains. People in Ethiopia roast beans over a fire with a wok looking thing, then serve it.
One middle eastern culture has a saying (which I cannot quote) that says coffee is just and excuse to be doing something when socialising with friends.
Speaking of coffee....

and another snippet...in medieval times, the Christian church wanted coffee banned as an evil drink. Apparently wealthy Muslims made the church feel threatened.
BUT on tasting this exotic brew, the Pope liked it so much - he 'baptised' it.
