Still trying to wake up here, Marchers. I ate too much candy last night and feel kinda hungover-ish. Today needs to be a salad and raw veggie kind of day.

Morning everyone! Waking up a little late. I feel very sluggish too Casey. I ate a giant candy bar while laying in bed right before I feel asleep last night. Hahahaha! It was good!
I had a fun weekend. Sober, productive and present for my family. It’s nice. :-) 2 AA meetings tonight (there are 2 back to back ones and they are both really good). Tacos for dinner. Mmmm!
Mish...I’m so glad you quit a job that was making you miserable! Good for you! I’m doing some weeding of things I don’t like or that mess with my serenity too! (Including people!) ha!

Good morning everyone.
I went to bed when the kids did last night. I need to do that more often 😁 I was woken up in the middle of the night by my daughter. Her tooth fell out. She was sleeping and it literally just fell out of her mouth 😮 Glad she didn’t swallow it. Now I just need to remember to be the tooth fairy tonight.

I'm up, Casey, but dragging. Watching Olivia overnight while she's teething kicked my butt. Baby 1 - Grandma 0. Ah well, it was fun. Sophia woke up and sat straight up and said, "I want a popsickle". That's my girl.

I get that some might feel that they haven't made progress in 2 years (or 4). I just don't see it that way. We're still here. Still pushing forward. And are you better than when you weren't trying? Progress not perfection. That's the goal.

Yes....and not comfortably numb which is a good thing. 
Just busy day.....busy doing me things.....I haven't made time for myself like this in a very long time.

Got my 'sponsor' coming for tea, then a meeting tonight. We used to do a meeting every Wed. for over a yera- but my unit is too far out of his way. I say 'sponsor' with the brackety things, because I usually give him more guidance these days..the booze part- when I mentioned coming up to 2 years and interesting how no fuss made when I goyt a year up (like someone that night at a meeting..speech, cake-etc)- he said ' yeas, but you are different- you do not need it', meaning I do ok.
He is very intelligent and probably one of the least practical people I know. More a friend now. He was the first person to approach me just after I stopped boozing living in that hell-hole, I had lost 55 kg and was very sick. Got a lot of time for him..even tho he is about a squillion years old (79).
