Wow....what a big ordeal but congrats re the license love.
And I am glad you are moving forward with the mediation/legal stuff...I know it's horrible, but in the end you are standing up for yourself which is important.

Good job moving forward, Phoenix. Very good example for the rest of us too.

Goodnight Marchers. See you in the morning hangover-free. That's a win!

Casey- we are all examples for each other, you included- you never give up.
I came to some small reflective conclusions whilst riding in crap traffic (bike lanes give idiots a dedicated space to try and run over you)- mainly that it is far better to isolate problems and tackle them slowly, piece by piece- each day, than to see it all as a horrendous mess.

PJ ~ As usual I read your posts and admire your strength.

Sam, glad you’re here.

Was rooting for Dunkirk to win Best Picture. I loved that movie.

Applekat - I love Richard Jenkins in that movie, too! Fun fact: when I was a kid I saw a lot of plays at a local repertory theater. Richard Jenkins was one of the actors and my parents and I always loved him when he performed. He is special and talented and was wonderful to see on stage!

Hi MIA - good to see you! I'm a big movie goer so I did watch most of the Oscars last night. I still have some movies to see from the best picture list, but funnily enough I had seen 4 of out of the 5 movies nominated for "Best Visual Effects" in the theater. I saw Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Kong Skull Island, Star Wars the Last Jedi, and War for Planet of the Apes in the theater - all of which were wonderful! I have two teen boys so I end up seeing movies like this more than the "adult" ones. Haha - my daughter wanted to see The Shape of Water so I took her - the theater was packed and we had horrible seats in the front, but we enjoyed it.

My daughter was home for the weekend from college this weekend - we went to the mall and did a little shopping (luckily I only have one girl - shopping is very expensive!)

Have a good week all!

Hi gang. Just a quick check in for now. Running a little behind schedule!

Mondays suck much less when sober. Headed to airport (again) - traveling all week. I’ll have plenty of time to keep up here though.

Nice work Purps!

Happy for you PJ

I watched the whole thing last night, my toddler re-joined me at the end too. Fun times. I was falling asleep until the performance of This Is Me. Haha! I knew Shape would win. Very cool about Jenkins, Juno!

Congrats on the month, Lillian! Way to go on a sober 3 day weekend, Purps! Keep the momentum going.

Have a great sober Monday, everyone.

Oscars.....I forgot.....not used to being in the country that airs them.
I have always had to see them the day after...

Sleepy. Need starting fluid....how is it that I can forget to drink my coffee for an hour?

Love to you all. ♥♥♥

Um no....I didn’t watch either Purp. I’ve never given a crap about the oscars. Lol. I’d rather clean my toilets or hang from my eye lids than watch them. Lol. The movies that win usually suck.

(In case anyone was wondering what my opinion about them is) lol!!!!!
