Hello Everyone,

It's a rare 3 day weekend in Hillbilly Budville, getting a bunch of things done around the homestead.

The no soda thing has been working, the nice thing is, this one I can cheat on. I've only had 2 sodas in the past 6 weeks, along with eating better and some exercise I've lost around 20 pounds.

The critters are doing well, still being brats, but spending most of their days outside now.

Work is still hectic, still averaging over 50 hours per week and the higher ups say there is no end in sight to the longer weeks. It may not be ideal, but ,some of the other departments are only working 16 to 24 hour weeks. So, I'm glad to be getting a full weeks in.

Hope all is going well and goes well!

It's all over, and I'm home, but very tired. Had a three-hour nap, but I'm still bone-weary. The test itself was over fast--just six quick pictures--and the technician thought it was clear enough that the radiologist would be able to get useful information from it.

Ditto Gilmer

Budd great to hear from you & love the Avi.

Sass, my issue is a time thing, I have 2 rooms to try and decorate before Wednesday when the rest of the furniture arrives, and in the middle of it I have to organise this flaming car. Could happily have waited on it but the guy is desperate to sell this week as he wants to return to live in the uk, & it's a really good deal. But it's not just a case of ' oh, like the car, here's the money' ' great here's the paperwork' I will have some running around to do which eats into my painting time. I went out for a meal last night, but tonight will eat at home so I can work on if needs be.

My dad is still having issues, they don't seem concerned, but of course because none of it is normal post op stuff, my mum is worried sick.

Im here, just busy! My dad is slowly making progress with his medical issue, still not had physio on his leg yet, over a week since the op, and normally wou,d start the following day. Hopefully his other problems will resolve over the next day or two and physio can begin.
I have 2 rooms almost done, just a second coat of paint which I will finish today. I have to collect the padron today, I registered yesterday, and take money out the bank to buy the car. I am also checking out insurance for it. If all goes well I collect it tonight. Hopefully the furniture arrives early tomorrow, which gives me the day to organise the layout of rooms, put up flat pack things and begin to make a real home of the house. I'm. Not sleeping great, too much going on in my head just now, but hey , sleep is for wimps right?

I hope you all are doing fine, and sorry if I'm not around too much at the moment.
