Class of March 2013 Part 50
Hi guys back down in England, another flying visit, father decided to throw himself to the ground and manage to break his femur. Anything to get out of weeding! Anyhoo, arrived yesterday and went to see him today, he isn't too good, kind of an adverse reaction to the anaesthetic & painkillers, but was beginning to feel better by the end of our visit. I had home Wednesday, as I fly to Spain Thursday and need to get a few things done before I head across. My brother and his amazing wife ( who usually pick up the sibling slack and do all the running around for ma & pa when anything happens) were away at a wedding until tonight so ma didn't want to spoil their fun, so I was so glad I was able to come down and be here for her.
Prayers for them wouldn't go amiss, I know you all have plenty of faith to back them my dear friends.
PJ certain seasons have certain drink triggers for me - an ice cold lager in summer, a mulled wine or various liqueurs at Xmas time, but let's face it, I know that the one cold beer would lead to me getting sh1tfaced, ditto the mulled wine etc. It was hard facing each trigger for the first time or two, but everytime I substitute with something else, the drink memories get less insistent and further away.
I hope you all have some nice spring weather to enjoy over the next few weeks.
Love and hugs my friends xx

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you all know that I am now a happily married man. The wedding was on Saturday in our apartment with about 20 close family members and friends. We decorated ourselves and just had a deli spread and cake after the ceremony with a Martinelli's toast. It worked out perfectly to have a nice, simple, DRY wedding surrounded by our loved ones.
I have to go back to work tomorrow, but the honeymoon is only a few weeks away!
It's crazy how 4 years ago, I thought I would never get married because of this disease, and now I have a wedding band on my finger.

Toots, sending healing thoughts and prayers for your dad.
Congrats, DD! I've always preferred small weddings with family and close friends. To me that is so much more meaningful than the extravaganzas we read about. Have a wonderful honeymoon.
