We have just finished picking up the leaves that fell from our neighbours garden
Were having our first meal on our new table tonight
And we built the pooch a new bed fashioned out of a plastic laundry basket he loves it it's only a prototype and were going to make pillows and new bedding for him plus he's getting a onesie and some dog boots so he can keep his paws clean when it's raining etc
All in all another good day the days are already getting longer normally it's dark by 3-4pm and its only just getting dark now at 5pm and we have robins singing right now which is always cool

Just wanted to pop in quickly and say hello- I hope to catch up with the thread tonight.... still assembling toys from Xmas!! Just about to tackle a drum set.... certainly one of our band guys here could do it in 5 minutes. Wish me luck and I'll talk with you all soon!

Were watching a movie called anthropoid it's a good movie better than the 65% RT gave it here is a synopsis

I was saddened by the loss of Carrie Fisher. I thought she was recovering from a heart attack on the plane in a hospital. 60. Dang I am older than all the folks dropping around me! She is one with the force now however you choose to name it.

Glad I have things I care enough about to be angry or happy, sad or joyful, for all of which I am grateful.
All that work on the drainage here before I went in for surgery paid off! The swales and re-graded driveway sides for drainage and the new culvert with concrete headers worked perfectly! No ponds around an =d in my front yard! Woo Hoo!
Next year I can maintain it with just my tractor for the first time.

Just popped back in to say be warned if you watch anthropoid its a deep movie that I should mention a trigger warning I know were Overs but yeah that film had me gripped

Just a quick "hi" to all the Overs. Two exhausting work days after Christmas. Glad to finally catch a day off tomorrow.

I was given a glass of champagne to toast at inlaws last night. I refrained but fil insisted so I graciously took it and put it on the side. My hubby thought he was coming to the rescue by drinking his up so he could swap glasses with me, bless. I went in the kitchen and poured an orange juice in a clean champagne glass and they assumed I'd added orange to the champagne. They know I don't drink but they forget, but they don't know the reasons why. It would become public knowledge if mil knew.
I was surprised how my hubby reacted. He doesn't realise I could handle the situation. I know he was trying to protect me. All was well.
Wolfie, I found 'stranger things' on kodi, going to give it a coat of looking at.
