Hi all! Repentant Under/Over here. I am ok, just been busy as can be with work and singing gigs (another one has emerged, when it rains.... ) No further slip ups, no desires. Just let some depression and stress get to me. A convenient bottle of vodka in my face didn't help...

Itchy, I'm a member of friendly gardeners on Facebook and someone in Louisiana posted a pic of their garden under water. Hope it subsides soon!
Feeling a bit rough this morning. On Days like these (brilliant song by Matt monro, think it was in the Italian job) I want to stay at home, not have to drag myself to work. Ah well. Such is life.

IP awesome concert! And how sad for that couple that they couldn't manage sobriety for one night to enjoy a special performance. I'm sure that would never have been me in my drinking days! ( yeah, right, I recall Mr T all but carrying me home a time or two, and I wasn't an easy drunk to manhandle, I liked to dance! ( I thought I was Gene Kelly Singing in the Rain. More like Jerry Andersons Thunderbirds are Go! )
Sassy I'm glad you enjoyed the anniversary, it's lovely to see true love lasting down the years.mwe have a few old couples who always book their eye checks together, and it's so sweet to see 80+ couples sitting holding hands and smiling aat each other.

Totally agree on the Karma, and on the 'if you can you ought' philosophy. If only everyone was like that how much better our little planet would be.
Instead of fighting across the globe for scraps of land, or in the name of gods who would be sickened at being called for such battles, or for precious minerals that can't feed or cloth a starving child... We could have Planet Eden!
Drake keep those tubes oubricated with the right kind of fluids and sing your heart out sweetie. X

Morning people, hope those on my side of the waters had a good sleep and all others are well or working on it.
I've joined a mindfulness group, by accident really (is there such a thing?) I was supporting a friend to go and now I'm part of the group. Feels very good and part of my moving forward.

No, my current avi is NOT a relative (although there are a few that could be)...I've been watching the blu-rays of the classic Universal monster movies. The Creature From The Black Lagoon was one of my favorites as a kid. I thought the Creature was very cool and that Julia Adams...va-va-voom! Here's the original trailer:

Why have I been in the dumps?
The short story is that I let myself be caught under other peoples problems. One person is kindly removing his problem and the group of folk with problems, I'm kicking into touch.
I'm going to have to be careful because it feels a little like isolating.
