Had another relaxing weekend. I've been watching my Universal horror blu-ray collection. The other night it was one of my favorites, The Wolf Man with Lon Chaney Jr. I also watched a short documentary on Chaney Jr. He was an alcoholic, no doubt in part having to deal with his father's legacy. Sounds like he did conquer some of those demons later in his life.

Itchy, lots of good thoughts. Although I still have more gadgets than the average person and loads more than anyone else at the OFH, I've lost my enthusiasm for the kind of stuff you are doing. I don't have the patience or interest anymore. Some days I am having a bit of fun working on a database for the OFH.

Me either. I used to look for all nighter challenges back in my 30's and 40's, and started losing my enthusiasm in my 50s. But I can't have one of my systems I refurbished for sale to be behind the times. I already spent on an SSD for it and needed 10 as it runs a bit faster on older chipsets. I still have way too much in the way of gadgets and parts here and need to get off my duff and advertise them in the local Craigslist.
