You guys are doing so well!

Im only on day 6 (class February).

Some of you are over half way to the 90 days mark where it will be much better, according to those who have been there before us.

So carry on....

Youre allowed to try and have a baby like anybody else. You wouldn't drink and harm your unborn baby - believe me. I was an alcoholic when I fell pregnant x 2, but I never drank. I was soon straight back into it after birth though :-( I couldn't breastfed so it wasn't an issue in that respect.

Don't think low of yourself because youre alcoholic. You appear like a very kind and caring person. Alcoholics can be beautiful people. The top 3 most nasty horrible people Ive met in my life were non drinkers, so there you go!

All the best
Thank you for your very sweet message. Honestly at times I thought I didn't deserve to be a mother even though there are MANY people who should not reproduce at all!! But now that I am taking better care of myself I'm hoping good karma will follow. I am concerned about what I will do if things don't work out but I'll deal with that later. Well done on 6 days. That's excellent.

55 days is awesome, MAV. I've stopped the nicotine too. It does make us irritable and very piggy. Hoping it will only last a days. I can't afford to put on anymore weight! But if I do, so what! One thing at a time.

Great to hear from you Olivia and Sunflower. Great news about your husbands. Mine too! He's really not drinking that much anymore. I guess we do influence them more than we think!

Hope everyone is doing well. Busy but fun workday. I'm at an elementary school today. The kids are sooo cute and funny. They always cheer me up.
Take care and carry on!

Congrats on 40 days! I always thought you were female!

Never put "only" before sobriety days, each and every day sober is worth celebrating! Congratulations on 6 days, one week tomorrow!

Long day today, after work I went to visit my mom at the hospital. Luckily, she was discharged a few hours later so I went to her house and helped get things set-up for her, fixed dinner, and by the time I got home, it was close to 10:00 pm. My brother visited my sister and reported that she is slowly improving. Again, thank you everyone for the well wishes, prayers and positive vibes! I'm turning in for the night. Carry on!

Good morning all. It's a new day full of new opportunities to do the right thing. Remember, we may not be able to control our circumstances, but we can choose how we respond. Carry on!

Hello everyone,

Good to hear your updates Sunflower and Olivia!

Thoughts are with you Odelle as you take care of your mother and glad to hear
that your sis is getting better. Sorry that you're dealing with so much illness in your family right now

Well, the big 60 days is next week but I stopped counting individual days and don't know if that's good or bad. I work my plan every day and delve into my toolbox when necessary. Anyone else not counting days except for big milestones? And if so, how do you feel about it?

Take care and wishing our wonderful class a good Sober day (or evening)!

I've stopped counting individual days also although at the moment it obvs doesn't take much to work it out. I defo feel like it's been stuck in mid 50s for ages... And I was getting impatient! But then I started thinking more... Impatient for what? 60, 70, 100? Or... When this will be all over and I can drink again? Sneaky AV. So yeah I'm not too worried about the day counting.

Day 43 here. I just realized yesterday was six weeks. Kind of cool to look at it that way.

I'm finding it's nice to reach the point where one seems to stop counting days - kind of like when a child grows old enough to stop adding "and a half" to their age in years
Best wishes, all: carry on. xxx

Hello,

Sorry I haven't checked in, this week has been crazy! I have been posting on others comments though.

I am looking forward to the weekend, nothing big planned, just kid activities. Finishing up day 56, actually about an hour and a half from day 57 which is pretty exciting, almost two months.

Hope everyone is doing well tonight.

Carry on!

❤️ Delilah

After a dreadful start to t he week being verbally abused by one of our customers- today I was given an expensive bottle of wine to say thanks by another... Oh the irony!!!
Needless to say my boss's wife has now got a nice drop for the weekend!!!
