Itch Man, yes, keeping anger and resentment off to the side, especially when what's done is done is the cause. I have enough trouble just keeping my side of the street clean.

Golf was the bomb on Saturday! 70 degrees and we played 26 holes in 4 hours. Best part, a friend laid a tip on me that corrected a problem I have been having for quite awhile. I played the last nine at 2 over.
Past couple days I have been hanging with my ragamuffin granddaughter. She is almost one year old and is in the early stages of walking and talking. Her waves of hello and goodbye go right to my heart strings. Simply put, she has stolen my heart away.
Busy day here. Giving ba-ba butchkie her morning bottle in Philly, off to a meeting in Harrisburg, body pump late afternoon back home, then an AA mtg. Life in Soberville - can't beat it!

Had just a terrible day yesterday. One of those days where everything went wrong and I felt like a huge failure. Like a poser, you know, why am I doing this, I suck at this job. Felt discouraged. But, I got through it and made deadline. Had a good night's sleep last night. The damn furnace is still pulling through the stove. Someone's coming to look at it later. So tired of dealing with this stupid stove!
Anyway. Five days till I fly home, yay. Can't come soon enough.

Every morning I wake up grateful to be sober. I can't believe it's been six years now. I still sometimes get thoughts of drinking but they're easily dismissed as nonsense.

Least!! Happy 6 years, that's amazing!!!
I know I don't post here much, well it's been about a year and a half. I started a silly little goal though so I'm around a bit more than before.
I have a really tough time every fall. It's when I used to relapse. Several times. Thankfully this is my third consecutive fall without going back to my old ways. Getting on sr and posting more is one of my best tools for staying on track.
I was doing a little math, and realized if I post 4 times a day or so, I'll hit 3000 posts for my third sober birthday. So what the heck, why not?
Hope everyone is well. Things keep getting better on this sobriety journey. Even sucky days suck less thanks to a clear mind and no regrets to worry about.
