Snooze,
Beats me, the movie was like Forrest Gump Swedish style. Very well played.

Wolf,
Sweet gums grow taller than many oaks. The gumballs get in the mower belts and wreak havoc - PITA !
The film was very good. I am in the middle of "The Man In The High Castle." excellent alternate reality.

Sassy,
Once past 60 it seems even better to me. It's too easy to write ourselves off as having a good run. And then we realize we still have some things to yet savor.

FBL,
At least she was rock, she could have told you BR-549, and you could have believed her . . . In a Bizarro alternate universe!
My front yard is under water, raining here too.

Nite all, have to let my sore muscles heal an extra day from push mowing around the house. Too much building residue. The contractors are not doing what was promised. I'm having to be a squeaky wheel which I'm good at, but I resent having to go there. That brings out my anger, and I have to guard that as it seems some folks want to have anger as a justification for their refusal to get it done as agreed.

Makes me uncivilized

FBL--hee, hee
I am tired. Went for a winter hike way down into a beautiful snowy valley. Found an old fallen down trapper's cabin with the stove and some old bottles etc. in it. Took the bottles. Saw lots of rabbit, coyote, moose and pine marten tracks. We were hoping to see some lynx or cougar tracks but no luck.
ONE MORE DAY then it's relax time.
Itchy thanks so much for the feedback, I checked out that dj. I'm glad you liked it!
The fireplace is fixed, no more smoking! Hallelujah.
I put a bird feeder in my backyard, and today it was busy with chickadees, whiskeyjacks, a squirrel and one blue jay! So nice to just watch them, I can sit on my sofa by the fire and see them through the sliding glass doors.
Take care everyone. Venus sorry about your asthma, no fun. I have it too, it's activated by cats and the cold. I have a puffer for that. Not being able to breathe properly is not a good feeling, I feel for you.

Morning overs

Scuse my ignorance Fbl and V, this comes on when I try to watch the video. Ah, the downs of living in little UK? Hehe.

The uploaded has not made the video available in your country

Well, me and hubby sound like a couple of barking dogs! We've both got coughs, ever since we went for Indian meal on Friday night, I wonder if we caught something in the air, hubby is hardly ever ill. Trouble is, it makes the asthma worse. Been touch and go over the weekend whether I had to go to A&E but managed to curb it. I could do with a nebuliser at home.

Those birds sound delightful, Inpar, I will have to check out whiskyjack and chickadee. Ah, the pleasures of nature.

Wolfie your lunch sounds wonderful.

Well, I must get ready for work. See you all later.

Get well soon Mags and Mr Mags. 'tis the season for coughs and sneezes.

Wolfie, I hope Mrs SW feels better too.

IP, I'm wondering, why did you take the bottles from the old cabin? Was it to recycle, were they pretty? Just curious!!

FBL my daughter is in the police, when she gets asked for her number she writes down 999 and tells them it's her work number.

Well folks another Monday, anyone else struggling with oisation that Christmas is just a shout away? I feel like I still have so much to do to prepare for it. I have gifts and food still to buy presents to wrap, meals to plan. It all seems so much effort this year.

I'm off to 'bah humbug' my hubby! Lol

Well I was then I went on 24 thread.....

Congrats on 2 years 4 months Wolfie, my sober twin!

And congrats Kris, though we don't see you here often. You will have 2 years next month, thats amazing! X

If her number was 634-5789 I might've been interested:

If it was BR-549 I would've called the cops:

More rain here this morning. Just thankful this wasn't snow.

Have a great Monday, gang!

Mornin' Overs! You are all so prolific with the messages that I simply can't keep up . Ah well, I'm relaxing into the fact that I can't keep track of everyone and everything.

Itchy, over 70 (about to turn 71 in less than 2 weeks!) is even better! I've never been as happy and at peace as I am now. So much less drama in my life.

The holidays don't stress me out anymore because mostly I simply ignore them. Fun to see the kiddies enjoying themselves but I feel no need to do stuff I spent too many years doing.

Petals, I see you, like many of us, have picked up BFree's use of the term "womp" (I'm assuming she used it first??). Wish I'd learned that one years ago.

Mags, IP and anyone else who is ill, sending wishes to feel better soon!

Everyone else, stay healthy!

I am enjoying my Long Service Leave .... objective achieved ... I have lost track of the day of the week and have to check the computer screen for the date.

With Christmas just around the corner I am making sure Christmas is a happy one in the household. Minimising conflict etc. After Christmas I MUST talk to my hubby. I am not sure what the outcome will be .... but things have gotta change.

The kids were rewarded at their end of year assemblies with special awards ...very proud. Youngest is off to high school next year.

My podiatrist is performing miracles on my foot. I am banned from exercise till after Christmas.... she just has to fix it BEFORE hockey season

I am relatively relaxed .... I ALMOST have a full set of NATURAL fingernails ... that will be a first in my memory.

As I take more control over the $ I am less stressed and saving money
Take Care All

Hey, Snooz! You look a little sideways this morning

Good to hear from you, LSC1!

The rain has finally stopped, at least for now.

Talked to Mom last night. She's really looking forward to Christmas this year.

Have a great Tuesday, overs!
