Well done on stopping when you did Troy.
Not sure of time zones, but hopefully you stopped and stayed stopped.
Day 1 tomorrow and if it's not been major it shan't be so bad and you can get straight back on the wagon, knowing where you went wrong. Which you do.
Very best wishes.

Yep, morning time here. Just woke up a little while ago, and am done drinking. Having a green tea.

Coffee went into the garbage, and bottle of whiskey will go to the mechanics shop in a few hours when I head out for the day.

Kudos to you for staying sober though. Keep on keeping up the good fight.

Well, I blew it.
Drank 2 glasses of wine. Didn't even enjoy them.
I am so disgusted with myself. Couldn't even get to day 5.
Really depressing..

Many of us faltered a time or two ring. Use this to build a better plan - y'know?
I'm glad you came straight back

I'm right there with you Ringthedoorbell. I just had a few small glasses as well, but I don't care. A drink is a drink, and we both know full well how slippery that slope is.

Come on, let's get back on the bus together. We got this!

Hang in there, Ring! You didn't go crazy with the wine, and you came right back. Give yourself some credit for that.

Day 9 coming to a close. I hope you are all looking forward to a sober weekend!

I'm not sure what a plan should consist of, but I will definitely research that tomorrow. Thank you Dee..
I'm not giving up. Gong to bed and hoping for a better day tomorrow.

I'm on day 6 here. Feeling good but tired. My skin feels soft and my face looks better in the mirror. I am going out for dinner tonight with friends and it's at a pub. I have already explained to them my situation, so there will be absolutely no pressure from them to drink. Any other tips on how to get through it?

Well RTDB and TW, time to get back on that bicycle hey?

You know what you need to do. Maybe time to revisit your plans?

If it were easy RTDB, would it be worth fighting for?

After a relapse I did an internet search and found Sober Recovery.

I am really hoping this is a new start for me

Day 4 for me... Am feeling pretty good this morning!

Main troubles seem to be hot flushes and anxiety, but fingers crossed I am over the worst. Just need to keep this up!
Next major hurdle... work

Come on people! Good luck everybody on whichever day no. you are on

I think that's what I need to learn too Sansa. I think maybe try not to make a big deal out of it and just enjoy being with your friends. Mine drink an awful lot and so I am very worried for going out.
I hope you have a lovely night.

Also, I have a friend and we're bad news together but I've arranged to go to hers for lunch next week, which means I'll be driving and I think she is working that evening. I am trying to do things like that for the short term just to avoid completley. Mayg

Me again. I'll be kicked off for talking too much. My first Friday night sober. I had to go to shops again (when my brain has cleared one of my dreams is to do a shop a week) anyway, I got back and I'd forgotten milk so had to go again. TWICE past my booze place. My AV voice was really loud, not the first time, but the second time I decided it was a sign that I deserved a drink. Honestly I was that close, but I didn't and got in car and red light came on, so I decided that was my sign because I'm not going out again tonight. Tennis is on, and honestly, the hours are soooo long but I think it shall be day 8 tomorrow. But it nearly wasn't. Mayg

Welcome Rosie

Day 5 really tired again today think feeling anxious and over tired last night made me sleep really badly also very exhausting dreams I really won't miss them.

Had a new mobile yesterday too yay well overdue my old one has been playing up for months and since my pc finally give in its my main source of SR and my old mobile really didn't like the app. No problems with this one though . Also downloaded kindle app and a easy reading way to give up alcohol book no excuses now.

I do not like the camera though wow setting up phone the front facing one came on not a pretty sight I looked bloated and tired (pretty much how I feel) but seeing it yuk.
