Welcome back, Dave! I fb stalked you a while back to see how you were doing. I'm so glad to see you here! Yay!
Aussie, congrats on month 2!!! Woot woot!
Things are awesome here. I feel productive and happy and fulfilled, and 100% present every moment I'm awake. My AA meetings are the best, and I try to get to one about 4-5 times each week. I love those people! And I had no idea how much growth I still had in me ... it's kinda crazy, really. I honestly didn't know what I didn't know.

I'm glad to hear you joined another group, too, aussie. I think it's important to have a lot of support earlier on and we are slacking more!

I have tennis this morning. My first clinic is over and we're starting a 4 week one with a new pro. I'm playing really well, tho so I'm happy about that. I'm working on my forehand, I've adopted a different swing. It feels so good when I do it just right. We went to see Poltergeist in the theater this weekend. Fun! After we all got home, my son and his girlfriend then watched the original to compare. haha. Solid rain all weekend, dry and chilly now. But it's JUNE! Hooray! Cooling down for the aussies?

Glad to hear things are well with you, bryan. Sorry to hear about your daughter, I hope she can whip this thing. That must be very difficult, I can't imagine.
We got a new shed yesterday in the backyard. It's pretty big! lol It's light gray and when the sun hits it in the morning, it's like a big freakin sun is shining in the backyard. It should be a dark color but we didn't know! Omg, I just peeked at it and it's GLOWING. Good grief. It'll be great to put stuff in, tho. D has so much stuff (cough cough crap) for his hobbies, we need the space. Where do you keep big mesh bags full of duck butts?! That's right, you heard me. DUCK BUTTS. They float in the water and they look like they're diving under for food, so their little bums are sticking up out of the water. They're plastic and they're to lure the poor innocent ducks into the area before you shoot them out of the sky. "Hey look! There are some ducks just like us and they're eating! Let's land there and join them for some-" And that's all she wrote.
So yeah, a new bright shed to store various butts and such. We're heading north for my niece's high school graduation party this weekend. It'll be good to get outta dodge. We're planning Summer weekends which makes me happy.

Bryan , so good to see you and sounding so happy too , I remember how hard you were struggling when you were in the old job. Sorry about the family , prayers they find their way out.
Its been a bad week here , a good friend died from cancer , he had it in the spine , so very sad he was only 51 leaving a wife and 2 sons ages 18 and 20. One of the hard things about living in a small town is knowing everyone, you seem to be always going to funerals more so than living in a city where people keep to themselves .
