Lol I love you guys, you crack me up.

Let us know, aus. Hope you get good results but still a kick in the a**.
I had the annual smooshing of the boobs appt. today, so we both have doc. appointments on Tuesday! It's cold as heck out there for the end of March. Sunny, but cold. We still have a pile of snow in our cul de sac from the plows. Give. Me. A. Break.

Did a little NYC shopping yesterday. Got a few cute things and a coat for Spring cuz I've no idea what the weather will be like when we go. Had the chaperone meeting Sunday, telling us about the trip and what kids we will have in our group. (If you forgot, I'm going with Tony to NYC for 5 days with his high school choir. I think about 43 of us total, kids and adults.) We doing all sorts of touristy things and the kids sing at the Lincoln Center. We're seeing 3 Broadway shows, one of which is Les Miz and we're SUPER excited for that because T will be doing that show in the fall. Yay! We've never seen it on stage, only the movie, so it will be super special. Anyway..we go week from Friday, so I'm starting to get us ready. I'm not ready for all the walking and the crowds and the subway, however. I love a big city, but I've only really gotten around Chicago and that's via bus or cab. (I guess I did ride the subway all the time when I was in London years ago, but still.) I have a feeling the business will be a shock to the system.

Have a great day all! Muah!

It should be great, Dee. Oh and we're not allowed to drink there, like at dinner. Guess who couldn't care less?! And btw, I didn't mean "business" in that last sentence, I meant "busyness". Big dif!

I want to know Mirage's new hobby!!!!! **stomps foot**

A trip to NYC with the kids sounds like so much fun! And what a great memory to create! I went once for work a few summers ago, and it was sure different. It's crazy how many people are condensed into each square mile of land. Seriously, it's crazy. It was cool to visit, but it felt good to get home, too.

Things are good here ... nothing new and exciting to report. Just doin' my thing, working, being a mom and grandma, the regular. For a couple weeks life got pretty hectic, but we're back to normal now. My challenge is to avoid over-booking myself like that again. As soon as I start to have time to breathe, I think I need to do a bajillion more things. Can you say "addictive personality"? Ha ha! If one thing is good, then more must be better!

I see the Doctor Tuesday, I will let you know.

I started an old hobby myself , we had no power for the day so I got out a jigsaw to do , I used to be really hooked on doing these then I lost all interest, I found I still really like it , I managed to waste a full day. I have a wardrobe full of puzzles so I wont run out in a hurry.

Have a great day everyone.

Oh I'm sorry aussie, I thought you meant this past Tuesday, not next week.

I like jigsaw puzzles, too. I recently got a jigsaw app on my computer and do them on line. Very fun!

You too, Dee!

Hi guys just getting around to logging on , its that crazy time of year again, tourists everywhere and busy with work.
So I saw the doctor on Tuesday , my blood tests showed my liver count to be high but not as high as it has been in the past (so good news bad news)
I must stop drinking , so what do I do , totally shame myself by bursting into tears and crying the whole time I am there. Doctor wants to start me on AD's but I say no, he also gives me a referral to see a psychologist but I am not going there either, I have already done that and it makes me very uncomfortable. Time to really stop once and for good.

DAY 5

Hellooooo ladies and germs! Aussie..glad to hear you're back on the wagon and at around 2 weeks. Hopefully what the doc said can help keep you inspired to stay sober. I'm sorry you're not interested in his suggestions, I would try anything at this point. Your health depends on it!

Well NYC was fantabulous. What a great trip and great city. We hustled all over the place. Someone brought their fitbit and it said we walked about 10 miles/day. Lol, my back was killing me, but it was really good exercise for mind and body. It felt good to get out of my own head for awhile and do different things. Man I love traveling. The kids sang beautifully and all had a great time. We were exhausted. I've slept 10 hours a night for the last 3 nights. Tony slept 15 hours the day we got home. lol We were sooooo tired. Didn't sleep enough there, so busy. We were out of the hotel by between 7:30-8:00 each morning and back about 11:30 at night. That meant we had to take with us anything we might need all day, too, so our bags were heavy. We had one day of rain, but that's it. The 9/11 Memorial and museum was amazing. I cried as soon as I walked up to the big footprint fountains. I'm sure you all have at least seen pics of it. Just heart-wrenching to see what you've imagined for years. Anyway...it was a great trip. Glad to be home. <---Oh..and I think I was alone (except for in the bathroom) for a total of 10 minutes that I can remember, in those 5 days. For someone who digs her alone time, that was really weird. I'm happy to report that I stayed my fun happy self the whole time. Had some serious laughs and made lots of people laugh, too. All good fun.

Hope you all are well. We're still on Spring break, school resumes on Monday.
