I just wanted to thank Dee for helping me last night. I went to put up the Hope, Peace, Love (aka Pepperoni Pizza) avatar and couldn't find it. It was gone from SR. I felt bad asking Dee for help over something that seemed silly when he spends so much time helping those of us in real need. But I asked anyway. Of course Dee, the hero that he is, responded so quickly, searched for it and informed me that it was deleted in one of the upgrades. In the end, I discovered that I had saved a copy on my computer and uploaded it. Thanks Dee for taking time to help me with that. You really put a smile on my face and I wanted you to know I appreciated your help.

So...Hope, Peace, Love and Pepperoni Pizza to all!

Yes! In honor of us, I made pepperoni pizza tonight for dinner. Plus made two extras...one with chicken, roasted peppers, onions, olives and the third was a plain cheese for my kiddo who doesn't like anything touching anything else when he eats it!!

Tonight we are having a sleep over. Made brownies and helping my teenager prepare for some obligations...college, military, etc. Dealing with teenagers is not fun by the way. But I am doing my best.

Really trying hard to do the right things here. Peace to all of you -

I love the avatar! Good to see it back.

Long week at work. I am working on a project that would be easy if we had a decent database, but we don't so it requires so much manual work. It's very frustrating because I have no control over our lack of technology but that doesn't change what we are expected to produce. Oh well, eventually I will be done with it.

My fitbit has not been happy with me sitting so much at work but I did sleep nine hours last night so that's good!

FMFT, Hope the sleep over went well. Teenagers are their own species that's for sure.

Today I think we'll get our Christmas tree so that will be fun. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Enjoying the holidays over on this end. This year, while still and always it's one day at a time, it's been pretty easy avoiding being around alcohol. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Sorry to hear it's a toughie JSD, keep on pluggin'!

Hi...things are good on my end, but I agree that the holidays are really tough. I feel so busy all the time and work was crazy these last few weeks. But, I have three days off for Christmas so I looking forward to that.

My son turned 13 yesterday so now I have two teenagers. We went out for Mexican food and then somehow I let both my kids talk me into seeing the movie Krampus. It wasn't really a true horror movie and had some really funny parts but overall, not my cup of tea. But, I was glad that I was focused on the birthday and not what I was drinking.

I hope everyone has a good week. I'll check in closer to Christmas.

I forgot to mention that luckily, my son's birthday fell on the same night as the my neighbor's annual Christmas party so I had a real reason to excuse myself from attending. We drove by the house on the way home from the movies and it was in full swing. I woke up this morning so glad I was in bed by 10 and woke up with a clear head.

Helloooooooo! Nothing to say really...this is just my class and I'm happy I found it. Okay, well maybe there is a lot to say...alone in a foreign land far from meetings and a bit isolated...a bit looney tunes in the brain. so need to reach out. There...just saying it helps a bit. Happy holidays folks.
