In Arizona most residents are blissfully unaware of daylight savings time. We do not change our clocks. What this means is 1/2 year of Mountain Time and 1/2 year of Pacific Time. What this means for me, because my work takes place all over the country, is I'll be starting work at 6 AM on instead of 7 AM.

I'll whine more about it on Monday.

I paid a $42 parking ticket today. There was a $3 "convenience charge" to pay it online. I was totally guilty, and it's my own fault I waited too long to mail it in... but I like to whine, so there you have it.

Yup, this spring is coming is all a big illusion/delusion I say!

Hey all, I'm going to an all girl reunion this weekend. It's about
20 of us who all went to high school together. Most all of them
have stayed in touch, but I pretty much drifted away, except for
one of them. So I haven't seen these ladies in 30+ years. (Never
mind how many years the + represents, lol!)

Took me awhile to talk myself into it, but who knows, I may never see them again, so why not? We were all really close then. I'm curious to see them
all and depending on what I see, I'll either be really happy with myself
or be moaning about how old and yada yada yada...I am!

W.A. thought to ponder

what comes first,

the whine then the procrastination,

or the procrastination then the whine?

Nmk just called me asking for a ride to work very shortly. I told her she should have asked me yesterday and she swore she did, but I know damn well she didn't mention it yesterday!!

Scraped the heavy wet snow off my car and ready to pick her helpless @ss up in a bit... So sick of her dependant attitude... wish she'd grow a pair and get on with her own damn life!!

Most excellent whine, Hugger, and educational too because this Canadian didn't know that.

I have a guilt whine this morning. It is warming and rainy here too, which I like because it gets rid of the snow and I can drive and see in rain. However, I live in a ski area, and the ski slopes depend on snow for March Break (which is next week here). So, although I would be a hypocrite to wish for snow...I shall not rejoice at rain.

It's all good because rejoicing can affect my whineability.

Zipperman, I remember Life of Whinely, another great show from TV ago.

What's happening to the world?

8.9 magnitude quake in Japan with 30-foot tsunamis that are traveling to the U.S. west coast and Canada??!?

With a failed nuclear reactor shutdown in Japan taboot!?!

Blessings all around.

Major devastation and losses abound...globally...locally...economically.

I can't whine about the downpours here...pales in comparison.

Oh, it's horrible. Puts everything in perspective, though.

My lame little whine - I received this email today from "DHL International": 'Dear Customer, The parcel was send you home addcess. And it will arrice within 7 bussness day.' Suspicious much? Geeze, people - at least learn to use spellcheck.

Fands - Glad you said that about The Fighter - I'll add it to my Netflix queue.
HBeee saw it & liked it, so it must be good.

no we've all been over in the Alcoholism section..shaking our heads.....i went and got a great HC...all my layers were growing out and i had massive dead ends. there is a marked difference in my new sober hair growth from last year.....you can feel the difference between the texture too...thankfully these days, i have a good diet and full head of hair growing and not jumping off of my head.

previously when drinking heavy i was growing "cat hair" ...fine, thin and falling out!..Fandy is highly insulted by this remark as he has a huge thick coat and massive fluffy-tail.....Pookie advertises Pantene smooth and sleek shampoo...he is shorthaired but high shine.

I'm sure you look lovely, Fands. My hair was like that too when I was drinking, plus fingernails wouldn't grow. Now that they're growing, short nails are in style.

I was thinking hmmmm it looks like tornado weather and I was right!!!

I'm okay, the tornado was sighted a few miles from where I was driving.
