No floods for Fandy...I am much further south, next door to Dr. House.
i am appalled at the lack of Sunday whines! do i have to do all the work?
the weather is depressing, no sun at all today, just clouds and daylight, cold and windy. no rain, but the mud and soggy ground continues.
i did some laundry, changed the bed linens, cleaned the cathair off of the stove and oven, ran the self-cleaning feature and the house still feels *cold*..with a 900 degree cleaning cycle for 4 hours.
watching a gardening show and trying not to get excited.

"Dinner and a Movie" night was a rip-roaring fun time!
Of course we didn't watch a movie...too much gabbing and gobbling.
Happy that most of the Scooby Snack-crap was consumed.
My cousin lives on the beach - the seagulls were going to get any leftovers.
I got stopped twice for a low beam headlight being out!
Once on the way to my cousin's house...once on the way home.
With another 30 minutes before reaching home, one cop actually told me, "if the other cops are as bored as I am, you'll get stopped a couple more times for this headlight before you get home."
I drove home with my high beams on for the rest of the way home.
What a load.
Dee's back...what a pleasant and predictable surprise. He can't stay away. He loves everyone too much.

You're funny, Ann.
I pleasantly lived vicariously through you all winter on tropical boat, island, tortoise, and alligator excursions while shoveling that heavy, soggy, wet white stuff.
And am happy that you were able to escape it.
3 inches on the lawn...sorry....am not feeling your pain. waaahhhh.

Although I might regret asking what is the joke behind the job at the Electric Company? I'm thinking it has to do w/that crazy bill of over 2K?
As far as the job thingy I have done everything short of having a friggen spell cast in this friggen town
At least I got to see Whiney McGee poke its shell out again today

time for whining!!! the time change...when the alarm went off all i couldthink of "it's really only 430AM"....followed by a big crash in the kitchen....i put the pillow back over my head, but the alarm came back....then Fandy dropped a wet fur mouse on my face.
further investigation showed that Fandy opened the kitchen cabinet, kicked my vitamins and PRESCRIPTIONS into the sink and removed some new toys that i was saving for him...i also found the tails of the fur mice as someone chewed them off.
i have to remember to tie the cabinets shut with rubber bands...the lasttime this happened, Pookie smashed wine glasses (he doesn't like me drinking either) and took a nap in the cabient...when tied shut the cabinets then make LOUD bang-sound as the cats play with the rubber bands.
i can't win, it was very dark this morning....

I may get in trouble for cross-posting, but just take a look at this eagle nest. The new baby was born yesterday and babies 2 and 3 will be born over the next few days....baby is just precious. For those who look at night, this is a live webcam and you can't see anything except by daylight.
