Thanks for the link Ann. This will give me something to procrastinate work for throughout the day! Great camera reception. I haven't seen her eggs yet.

It's too early to be awake.

One egg has hatched and the little eaglet is waiting for breakfast I think. The other two eggs will hatch soon. Then the real fun begins

I've got tons of whines....but really....

the sink still has the "washed" dishes in the drain that never got put away...
he did run the dishwasher but didn't empty it and piled more on the counter...
he never ate the leftovers in the fridge...
wondered if I went shopping to buy milk?....
said we left the house a mess ... so he did too.....
I could go on and on when I find more...

I did just see the baby eagle being feed...how wonderful!!! Thanks Ann for the link.

went to a PM meeting with the staff of nursing home and my brother....my mother is rapidly losing weight and her dementia/alzheimer's is in the high-moderate range....i was specific about our medical directives (that do not include a PIC-line) and since the remeron anti-depressant is not increasing her appetite in the last 3 months, they are going to stop it. her cognitive function is decreasing. We asked that she just be made as comfortable as she can and participate as much as she can...(they have big daily activities here but my mother gets crabby about them). we may see an upswing as she is able to go outside in warm weather, but it's going to be shortlived.

How's that for a whine-a roony????

there isn't "enough wine in the world" to make me feel better.....i am sucking down decaff hazelnut coffee with a shot of fat-free cool whip....i will probably spend the night in the bathroom whizzing away....

With another 30 minutes before reaching home, one cop actually told me, "if the other cops are as bored as I am, you'll get stopped a couple more times for this headlight before you get home."
Good thing he wasn't angry he was bored! You'da gotta ticket fur sure!
Love that little girl image Ann!

L2T - Like the new avatar.

Least - me too. What's up?

Nope. So, I usually indulge in Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with Sanders Caramel topping.

Fandy - I'm so sorry you're having to go through this sad time. Thankfully, she's in a good place with caring people around her, and she has her family to make sure things are handled properly. Prayers up for you & your family.

thanks whiners....when i took Sammy for a walk this afternoon around the "big pond" i got to watch the blue heron sailing along the length....he has this HUGE wingspan....there is a white one around too...i don't what kind of bird it is, snow white with a very long thin beak...Sammy was VERY annoyed that there canadian geese around, he did NOT like them nor did he like the man that was jogging/running fast...he barked up a storm....but the walk was good for us both...cleared our heads.

I am SO GLAD my life is relatively drama-free. Watching my two K's is like watching a badly acted soap opera: Days of their Lives or something like that. Dk is moving back in with nmk! After the terrible fight they had a month ago I didn't think they'd ever speak to each other again...

Both are cut from the same piece of cloth: both think the world revolves around them and that life is grossly unfair (to them) and both are pretty much incapable of doing for themselves or thinking logically... And neither can see the (obvious, to me) consequences of their careless spending and behavior...

I'm just grateful I'm no longer young and foolish!

bowing out of their issues and watching from the sidelines, giving support as needed is indeed much simplier than getting caught up in daily drama diaries.

of course you may want to lock the front door, turn off the phone, pack up the doggies and take off to a tropical locale for a few days too!

Taking Nikko to the vet in a while. Cataract is still a brick red color, tho it gets lighter and darker by turns. If I had several thousand dollars to burn I'd take him in for surgery to remove the damn cataracts and restore his sight...
