Good Monday Morning. I am clutching my cup of coffee - hoping it will clear my brain. I went for a very long walk yesterday and slept way too well last night. But it was a lovely weekend and now it's back to work.

Beth - I hope you had a fun Easter with your DD.

I am in a pretty bad mood today. I just wanted to say hi. I have a lot to do today. Hopefully my mood will get better.

Lyddie-Your walk sounds nice. I am glad you slept well. I hope you have a good day at work. The Easter egg hunt was fun. She had a good time.

Hope you all are doing well.

Beth..

Sorry you are in a bad mood. Those bad moods still come even though we are sober. Instead of drinking we just experience them and realize, they will pass.

You are almost on 30 days. I have learned and experienced first hand that around the 30,60,90,etc "anniversaries" our moods can become a bit touchy. I don't know why this is, but, I do know it happens.

Hoping everyones Monday was a good one..Lyddie, I too was clutching my cup of coffee this morning..must be something in the air

Thanks AW and Dee!

It's been an emotional roller coaster kind of day. I really appreciate the kind words AW, and the swift kick in the butt Dee. LOL! Life happens.

I didn't have any thoughts of alcohol. I was too busy. We went to Gymboree, the park, and grocery store. I know it doesn't sound like much, but with a toddler it's a very full day. I am a little better now, just exhausted.

I hope all is well with everyone.

Have a good day tomorrow

Thank you Aw and Dee!

It Seems weird to celebrate since I HAD almost 4 month before. I am grateful that I came back from the dark side, and any sober time is a lifetime compared to drunk time.
AMEN!

I am very thankful for you all

I finally got some some sleep last night! I went to bed at 7pm and was asleep by 8. I woke up several times but I know I got at least 8 hrs. I needed it desperately!

I have a lot of things to do that I have been putting off due to exhaustion. I will tackle that list today! YAY!

Have a good all

Thanks Beth..last night was a long night for me. My daughter was at the state tennis finals, and had no power, as 11 tornado warnings were issued.

She is safe...many others are not. The devastation is heartbreaking.

hey Beth - glad you are getting the sleep you need. I am going to try to go sleepless tonight to watch the Royal Wedding. I am taking tomorrow off from work so I might just might be able to be awake at Midnight to watch BBC America.

BBC America = Dr. Who to me, LOL. One of the few shows that make me miss not having a TV or cable.

HFA - Netflix has streaming David Tennant and Tom Baker Dr Who episodes. Watching old tv shows on Netflix online has helped distract me from dwelling on my work woes many, many evenings.

I am awake and watching the start of the BBC coverage.

Wow that is just crazy AW! 9 tornado warnings! I am so glad she is ok. As you know my whole family is in GA. Everybody is ok there too. TG! I lived there almost my whole life and have never seen 9 tornado warnings in 1 night. I have been through a few though. I hope the worst is over for the season.
