Good Morning!

I hope everyone is well!

I went to the dr. yesterday and FINALLY got a diagnosis, for all the pain and lack of sleep I have been suffering for a while now. It is call MFS. It's a fancy name for chronic muscle pain. I was prescribed some meds, but will only take on really bad days. I have to be too alert for DD to take daily. So at least I am not crazy. I also got a full blood panel done. I will get results soon.

I am going to gymboree and try to get some cleaning done. It is a yucky day in LA today.

Today I took the dogs to the mountain to walk the trails. It was Beautiful and spiritually uplifting. It really puts things in perspective.

I have decided not to get my non-narcotic script filled. I figure I have made it this far without pain meds why even go there. I have decided to try healing the natural way with vitamin supplements and exercise.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Good Morning! I intend to have a peaceful and productive weekend.

My work week was a trial but it was all minor stuff really - just seemed like a lot of stuff. A good friend of mine is dealing with some very difficult family stuff - health and aging issues mostly for close family members - and I was reminded by her difficulties that my cr*ppy week was minor. And I was very aware that I got through the week as well as I did because I am sober.

Lyddie, it sounds like you are describing my week. Work was a bit more stressful and taxing then usual. But...between meetings, and knowing what other friends are dealing with, I realize my stuff is just that...stuff.

Beth..I hope you are able to find relief from your pain. Congrats on 14 days..time builds back before we know it. I love getting outside with the dogs and just "being".

Hey Good Morning!!
I am so tired but in a great mood! I am going to take DD to the mountain today for a small hike. She has never been. This is only going to be my 3rd time. I can't believe I have lived here for 3 years and am just now exploring the beauty of CA. Shame on me! When I was a kid, you couldn't get me to come in from playing outside. Thats what hiking makes me feel like a kid! Awesome

Thanks AW, it is flying by fast. I still need to get to AA meeting. I will. I am sorry you had a tough week At least it is over!

Hello all.

I've been back at work for a week and today is my day off. Have been having a good look through the threads and getting my booster of SR to keep me going through next week back in the jungle. Good to hear you are doing well Beth, keep it up. Taxi gig starts for real next break (two weeks) and I'm doing 4 nights on 2 off. Didn't want nights but someone is going on holiday the day I arrive back for 3 weeks so it all fits in well. It will be a baptism of fire but I'll get through it and things should be fine after the first week. I have bought a GPS which should help. Congratulations Dee on 4 years, great work. It will be 10 months on Thursday for me, not that I'm counting of course. Hope everyone has a great week.

Good Morning!

I am actually up before my dd! Maybe the tides are changing and she'll will start sleeping late. Oh wow! How cool would that be!

So yesterday I first took DD to the mountain for a walk. I came home put her down for a nap and took the dogs. I went twice!! Yesterday was my 2nd day in a row and I feel better both physically and mentally! I think I will go again today with the dogs. I am going to take dd for a walk to get some frozen yogurt today. I will probably stop by the church and say a quick prayer too.

Shoe- I am excited for you to start your new job. It just sounds fun. I am a people person but unfortunately get lost even with GPS! You have to share your stories with us! Taxi Cab Confessions! LOL

Lyddie, you should try to get out to the beach today, if haven't already been. I am going to take dd this week when it warms up a bit. I am glad you are enjoying your weekend
