BKA, that sounds like a lovely place to be!

Grateful for leftovers to grab on the run yesterday.
Grateful for the free miniature and book from my hobby shop yesterday.
Grateful to spend more time with my brother and take his dogs on walks, they're so well behaved.
Grateful for a fun night, I like working the dressing rooms when the artists are friendly.

Grateful Astro is so kind to his brother. My prayers are with you two. I sure hope things get better and he's feeling better.
Well, I thought for sure the groceries would be here by now. They could still come tonight or tomorrow. They've never been like this before. Maybe some employees are out sick or maybe it's the weather. There is a bad flu going around here. It begins with an N. Driving in the rain during rush hour could for sure hold things up. I hope they come! I ended up getting a headache tonight. Hoping it will be gone tomorrow. I really dislike grocery shopping, so I hope I don't have to go. Silly, but it makes me feel pretty anxious.
It stopped raining for a little while, but it's back again. I guess this Alaska storm is really causing havoc. The Sierras got tons of snow. I think they have a warning for people not to go up there until the storm lets up. They showed it on TV and it was white, no visibility. Grateful for the snowpack for the year coming up. It helps with the droughts. Although I don't know if we got enough rain to make up for decades of drought, but we sure are getting rain. Grateful for Spring. It is so beautiful and green here. I wish it lasted longer. It does usually start pretty early, but I can't believe it's still raining, it's so good for the environment and the air.
Grateful for all of you and our Grat Pack. 💗
Have a wonderful evening and pleasant dreams to you all!

Hi friends

Alpine I got some yard work done too….though there’s not much of a difference by looking at it! But grateful that I got some outdoor fresh air and exercise in nice weather.

Grateful for evening stretches and YouTube music to take the edge off

Grateful for our recovery group

Grateful to be alive and sober.
Grateful for SR.
Grateful for almonds and chocolate chips for a snack.
Grateful that when I wake up tomorrow morning, I will have 60 days sober in a row.

That's right, Peke and 424 big congrats for continuing in sober living. Ain't easy some time but well worth it.

Astro, I always love to hear about the Hobbys..
Alpine, are you selling some of your quilts?
424, I love my Scooby Treats
Peke, looking out for your friend means you are a very loving and caring person. Great going
Purps I need to get more outside time. I can hermit up in my Hobbit Hole.
Aly, I have seen the snow in Taho on the TV, WOW!, One time I had my food delivered to the wrong apartment, and poof they were gone. Ugg

That everyone?

Grateful -

- I did not freak out that a few days ago when another delivery to the wrong apartment again. That's life. Small order less sting, so that was good too.
- to keep my cat occupied when I'm running around the place. Otherwise, he can get into everything I'm trying to do -Egad Man!
-another sober joyous and free of nasty drug-seeking.
- Peer support ended my addiction. I only hope I can give back what was freely given to me, a helping hand
- you guys are amazing and do not believe otherwise.

Looking forward to bedtime. Had a nice day. The F1 and NASCAR races were great to watch. My guy #6, his car was no good. He is 100 races without a win. He needs a stiff pep talk dangit

See ya tomorrow God willing

My friend (who is going through a breakup) just sent me this poem. I hope that you all have a good night.

“Hope” is the thing with feathers
BY EMILY DICKINSON

“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -

And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -
And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -

I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me.

424 - Congrats on two months today!

Grateful to be off side work for a few days, this weekend drained me but it was mostly fun.
Grateful for the meals provided yesterday but a bit too much bread and pizza dough for me!
Grateful for iced coffee and cold foam creamer to start this day.
Grateful for leftover bread to put in the rodent traps. Yep, in Phoenix we get large citrus/roof rats.

Peke - I like the poem. Thanks for sharing!

Posting early today. My mom has been sleeping off and on all day. She says she's really tired. I hope she's ok. She's broken her hip two times within about a year and had her stroke a few years ago, so maybe she's still healing. They say some things and surgery can take sometimes up to a year to feel normal again. The surgeons will tell you differently, and maybe some people do feel ok after 6+ weeks, but I never felt tip top after that amount of time after a surgery! So sleep is good. I'm taking her to the doctor soon for a check up. Grateful for that.
Astro prayers to you and your brother. Glad you get some time off. Glad you had a good time at work. Makes a difference.
Love and peace to you all. Have a wonderful evening. Nice poem Peke.

Hi all , I am posting early before I turn into a pumpkin. Been so tired and after I cook dinner in about an hour I go into shutdown mode
Purps, beautiful day here so I got more yard work done and of course Riley pup supervised
Astro, I hope you get some rest time and good luck with the rat issue. We had a few mice up in our ceiling.
424, congrats on 2 months!!!!
Peke, I love to hear Riley snore..It is so darn cute
Zen, nope..I have never sold any
Aly, surgery on older folks can definitely take it's toll and is often harder for them to clear from the anesthesia..Plus with the stroke on top of it...even more challenging. I hope you are able to take some you time
Grateful for the sun and temps in the low 70s which is very unusual
Grateful to be working on a few quilts at different stages of completeness
Grateful for my time sitting outside listening to the birds
Happy night all

Hi Peeps

Grateful -

- for justice from the Gods of Delivery. I still have to investigate the 2 for the price of 1 Amazon Blooper bonus package.
- I quit driving.
- motorsports fantasy game. First place $10,000.00 prize. I am in 167,408th place now. It is early in the game with plenty of room for advancement are the lies I tell myself.

See you for coffee tomorrow morning .

Hello Grateful People !

Grateful to be sober and for all of you here at SR, you're a great caring group!
Grateful for the whole bean coffee and cream I just brought home tonight. I ran out yesterday and I didn't have any coffee this morning. I thought I would take a break from the coffee, but quickly changed my mind, I sure missed it today.
Grateful for the strawberry ice cream I also bought at the store tonight. I wanted a treat.

I am tired too, relaxing in my comfy chair. See you all tomorrow, take care of yourselves.
