I should be grateful - for waking up today, for having good medical care and a nice place to live. But I don't feel grateful at all, instead I feel resentful, unhappy, insecure, and useless...
at least Billie still loves me and doesn't judge me or nose around in my personal life... so I'm grateful for that, at least.

Ah least, I am so dang sorry. It must be hard. I had a bit of a downer day although this is mostly my fault as I could have gotten up and out more.
Anyhow here are the best gratitudes I can come up with
- a small box the lady at the grocery store gave me so I can mail fingerless mittens to my sister
- clean sheets on the bed
- my sister calling me first thing in the morning just to talk
May tomorrow be a new day for everyone and Least in particular.

Least, I am praying for a good day for you, some sunshine and love in your life, and as much comfort from Billie and the cats as possible 
Grateful for leftover ribs, cheesy rice, and sauteed kale.
Grateful for a hard run on the treadmill and a low blood pressure reading.
Grateful I am able to work remotely, I'll be working from the hospital today as my brother's procedure is happening.

Least s Sorry you're not feeling well. I hope things perk up and don't worry about getting in touch. Right now, we've both had a lot to deal with. I'm so glad you have Billie. One of these days I'll get another one, when I can give them a good and stable home. I hope you are feeling much better than you were. Grateful to see you here! 
Astro, you and your brother are in my prayers. Hoping all things go well with him and with you helping out with your full schedule. You are a very kind man!

Alpine, I'm a firm believer that sleep is healing, and your body is telling you to rest. I'm glad you're getting to bed early. Sweet dreams!
Grateful for some sun poking out. Grateful my mom is napping. She sure has been sleeping a lot. I've heard people tell me that sometimes elderly people sleep more. Plus, she's still healing from her broken hip. Grateful that I am making peace with my sisters blaming me for my mom not going into assisted living. She doesn't want to go yet and as long as she has someone around to help her with a few things and make sure she doesn't hurt herself, she does pretty well. I am for sure moving, but if I can stay here for a bit, it helps me save money, I can help mom out for a bit, and I need to save money now. She's not going to be around that much longer. So for right now, things are peaceful, no drama, and it is helping us both. I just don't understand what they're so angry about and anymore I really don't care. Thanks to so much support I get here, I am thankful I feel at peace with the way things are and I don't care what my sisters' think much anymore. Grateful for that.

I got myself up and out and sure enough, I had a better day
Today I'm grateful for
- getting a package mailed to my sister (it has been waiting to be mailed for some time)
- running into a friend at the post office
- a solid hour at the rec center
- the lovely yarn I'm knitting with

Bekindalways, I find that too, that getting out doing something, anything, keeps me going and I am happy and my day always becomes better.

Grateful that I was able to speak my peace today in a respectful way, and finally was able to say something I needed to say, instead of holding it in, and holding on to it.
Grateful for a sunny and pretty day.
Grateful that I laughed a lot tonight while watching some shows on tv and the laughing helped me to let off some steam.
Grateful that I am doing pretty good moving on and not festering on silly thoughts and making them bigger, big progress for me.

I had another quiet day and managed to get out for a short ski and a bit of grocery shopping.
I'm also grateful for phone calls from friends and family and the amazing student I met with this morning.

Hello Grateful People !
Grateful to be sober and alive.
Grateful for 3 pairs of wool socks that arrived in the mail today. My feet get cold when I am sitting watching a movie at night. When I was a drinker I always ran hot and sweaty, now I am not.
Grateful that I colored my hair, it makes me feel better.
