Fearless, so nice of your husband to make Eggs Benedict! Really happy you had a good Mother's Day.
Hev, right there with you on staying up super late reading!

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for a nice Mother's Day, even though it felt pretty rushed (lunch with MIL and dinner with my mom). Everyone seemed happy though.
Grateful to be pushing ahead with this senior living conversation. My dad keeps treating it as a comparison with where they live now (and obviously, there is no comparison!) Grateful to have a flexible schedule today, so I should be able to pop over to one of the places for a tour.
Grateful my older son sat with my mom and read her cards to her, including his, which was so sweet.
Grateful my younger son tested negative for Covid, although his cold is awful!
Grateful my husband is in CA for a couple days this week.
Grateful for a bright, sunny morning.
Grateful my dogs wait patiently for their breakfast.
Grateful to be sober.

PS, I did see Black Swan. Granted it was back in drinking days and I’m pretty sure I took some kind of pill too. But it’s a strangely happy memory of being in this crappy, tiny house on vacation in Galveston and when the kids would go to sleep earlier and of just watching a dark movie while they slept in the other room.
Alpine, I can totally understand getting nervous when seeing a PM from someone who doesn’t usually send them. But also totally agree with PS about how incredible you are with all your talents!
Hev and Fearless, glad you both got remembered/honored on Mother’s Day.
Thinking of all our Grat Packers and hoping all are well.

Grateful for coffee. We went to the matinee and out of all the refreshments flowing in this place (you can be darn sure they had lots of alcohol, including Mother’s Day themed drinks barf), they had NO coffee. I had so been waiting for it/looking forward to it. The kind of rude guy who served us in the line said, “it’s hot. So we don’t make it.” Like I guess they decide for other people that they don’t want hot coffee because it’s hot outside. Anyhow I’m finally getting to drink some now that it’s morning.
Grateful this dog that showed up on our front porch ended up belonging to someone right near our house (even though our search process was much more involved and involved someone from a rescue group seeing their lost pet post somewhere).
Grateful I didn’t work yesterday.
Grateful I called my mom. It is her first without her mom and I was thinking that would be hard for her. But she was also talking about wanting to go visit my brother’s grave. So it was extra hard. Or potentially so. When we called her she was doing fine. Said she might go to the cemetery and have a good cry later.
Grateful for this group.

Grateful to talk to Mom on the phone on Mother's Day. Grateful she's still with us at nearly 85.

Grateful for a brand new week of sober adventures.

Grateful for another day sober.

Hello all Gratpackers. Just checking in on my lunch break.

Grateful for sunshine. Yesterday was cold, cloudy and windy.
Grateful for a nice walk with my daughter and granddaughter yesterday.
Grateful I got calls from my daughter with covid and my son in SF to wish me happy mother's day.
Grateful for leftover vegetable soup. Still having to eat soft foods. Makes me kind of cranky.
Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful for the GP and SR.

Alpine - We lived in Ithaca briefly - right next to Cayuga Lake & near Seneca. Not sure if they're the northernmost. Glad you have decent weather.
CBS - Are you losing weight on your limited diet? (Not sure you wanted to.)
PalmerSage - I hope you find a good spot soon. It'll be a relief.
Grateful for sun & warmth today.
Grateful for the bird antics outside kitchen window. Most of them play nice.
Grateful MrH is not a moody person.
Grateful for our GP always!

Grateful for the homemade general tso chicken I made last night for Mr. Alpine and my MIL
Grateful that yesterday morning when I went into my MIL's house she gave me a hug and thanked me for dinner on Mother's Day. She said nobody has ever cooked for her on Mother's Day.
Grateful we started a small vegetable garden. When Mr. Alpine asked how my day was I told him good and that I was working on the farm. LOL
Grateful I have been sleeping fairly well.

Hev and Alpine, I forgot we share that Finger Lakes connection! I grew up going to my aunt and uncle's house on Seneca Lake, then proceeded to go to college there too. So many great childhood memories.
Free, isn't it weird to be the only sober person sometimes? Like an anthropology mission, haha.
CBS, so happy you were remembered on Mother's Day by all your kids.
NL, isn't it funny how certain movies bring you back to a moment in time? I (usually) love it when that happens.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful my brother dropped everything to try to help my older son jump-start his car. Somehow he keeps draining the battery, and this time it was so dead it couldn't be jumped - but at least they tried.
Grateful for low moods yesterday, because I'm hoping today will be more productive and upbeat by comparison.
Grateful to recognize that sometimes I'm better off in the office. Telework is great, but not for procrastinators!
Grateful for another bright, sunny day (and I definitely don't mind that it's chilly).
Grateful for morning quiet.
Grateful that my only presentation today should be fairly easy.
Grateful to suddenly realize I still have a lot of work to do on it though! Better run.
Grateful to be sober.

Gosh speaking of vegetable gardens, NOT grateful I just checked the weather forecast. It’s going to be highs in the mid 90s to 100s for at least the next 10 days. Our poor potatoes. I know that’s not a grat, sorry!
Alpine, that’s so sweet about your MI and PS, about your son reading to your mom.

Grateful for laughter with my daughter. Last night we were watching that goofy show we watch and I was crying at one part. She always notices that. Anyhow, I said, I’m not really crying. I just really love cookies so much (she had brought cookies upstairs). She got a real kick out of that, and it made me happy.
Grateful she is so articulate about her feelings.
Grateful for knocking a few annoying things off the to do list yesterday.
Grateful to see Canadian Koala stop by.
Grateful for this group.

Palmer, When not on Lake Ontario I spent a lot of time down at the Finger Lakes. I went to Keuka College.

Grateful for three kids and three grandkids who keep me aspiring to be the person they think I am.
Grateful for the faith of my August 2021 classmates, even though I ghosted them for months.

Hope everyone is well.

missed a day so I'm grateful for the last couple of days.

Grateful a Five mile walk today didn't leave me feeling like I'd done a marathon! Been building up slowly and finding exercising much easier now, just hope I can carry on. I certainly wouldn't have managed that or even been motivated when drinking.

Grateful for starting to appreciate the lovely things that are local to me that I'd never really took much notice of before.

Grateful im sleeping well.

Grateful for diet coke with lots of ice.

Grateful im sober.
