Hi my lovely Grat Pack friends, I'm sorry I've not been here for a few days but I'm just struggling a bit with time and tiredness. I've had a sinus infection which , fingers crossed, seems to be on it's way out now, plus I'v e had g.son's no 1 and no 2 staying over Fri/Sat, hopefully I'll be back to normal now, whatever that may be, lol. I hope you are all happy, well and sober, I've missed you all loads.

Grateful to be sober today.
Grateful to have time to post here.
Grateful that though it's cold and windy out there, it's dry
Grateful to deliver my g.children safely to school.
Grateful to have my fire on,
Grateful for central heating and warm clothes.
Grateful to be organised and have diner prepared for this evening.
Grateful that Rose's 6 hour theatre visit was worth it.
Grateful Numblady managed to get her hair cut yesterday.
Grateful Hready was able to console a neighbour.
Grateful to see Imvalentine back here.
Grateful to read all your grats posts.
Grateful for each of you. xxx

HReady - I am envious of your location near the beach. Lived near the Atlantic for years.
Rose - One dreaded appt. today, one tomorrow.
I must run, but I'm grateful for all of you and the connection we share.
Grateful for my sobriety and the knowledge that I'll never put myself or others in danger again.
Grateful for temporarily warmer temps.
Have a wonderful day, everyone.

Grateful to be up and doing a lot of chores today even though I'm still tired and would rather be in bed! Lol! I'll be grateful when they are done!
Grateful for my Luke laying right outside my door, making sure no unsavory characters make their way past him!
Grateful for all the Grats from all over the US and the World! Love and peace to all of you, and grateful for your friendship!
Have a wonderful day all! ♥♥♥

Grateful that one of my daughters thanked me for watching movies with them when they were kids. She thanked me for helping them analyze the movies and the characters. We used to watch a lot of movies as a family. I would pause the movie to ask questions about their perceptions of the movie. We learned a lot.

Least, I really like what you did with your daughters over the movies. It’s good to have a discussion.
Least, g.son’s legs are fine really, you should’ve seen mine as a kid, I used to get called olive oil and stick insect. . (I used to want to be fatter, now I want to be thinner!
Though he must have built a resistance to the cold wearing shorts constantly. We had a postie once that wore shorts all weather’s. Made you shiver for him but he was unperturbed by the weather it seemed.

Grateful for all Grat Packers
Grateful(I think) I’m getting my flu jab today at last
Grateful for having a roof over my head.
Grateful I can drive even though it’s not much fun on the roads nowadays, too crowded.

Grateful for Daisy’s photo. Looks not unlike my little son’s toothpicks.
Grateful to go with my mom to watch my daughter’s dance class. Even though I probably should have been doing something more productive was glad to witness the fun and the silliness.
Grateful my new boss seems to be settling in and I feel like I can probably just go ahead and tell her about my need for a smaller role/job change (though still not sure if I should hit her with it so soon in her tenure).
Grateful for good sleep.
Grateful for another day to be of service.
Grateful for all of you.

Grateful for decent sleep and Gdaughter back asleep after taking DIL to work after all.
Grateful I’m sober and clearheaded to drive this early. In the old days fumes would be coming out of me at 4:00 in the morning.
Grateful to be busy today.
Grateful I’m able to have Gdaughter here even if 2 year olds are a handful.
Grateful for SR and all of you!

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the catastrophe in New Zealand.

Grateful to be sober again, it's become quite a habit, a good habit.
Grateful to deliver my precious ones to school safely.
Grateful Luke guards Aly so well. xx
Grateful to read about Least's discussions with her daughter's about movies, that's so good.
Mags, that pic actually makes his legs look quite chunky
Grateful for warm clothes, it's very cold, wet and blowing a gale today.
Grateful to make 2 telephone calls that I've been putting off.
Grateful my little Lulu cat is curled up on the rug in front of the fire.
Grateful for warm clothes and a warm house.
Grateful Numblady went to watch her daughter's dance class, happy memories.
Grateful to post and share here.
Grateful for each and every one of you. xxx

Grateful for new and returning faces here. Grateful I’m back here as well since I missed a couple mornings. Been posting more on bedtime thread
Rose, glad your marathon toddler care is over at least for a while. Also glad you are sleeping better. I really want to see Knives Out!
Numblady, those crumbs are the reason why I don’t buy those granola bars. Lol
I am glad you had a good town outing and glad your boss is settling in too
Grateful for the memory of going to lacrosse games where I went to college at UCD
Hev, glad you are getting those dreaded appointments over with
Daisy, love the toothpick legs pic
Least, really like that approach to watching movies together. We’ve done that too, especially with shows that might be a little ahead of sonny boys time. Nothing rated R but some of the PG 13 material needs dissecting
Grateful sonny boy is feeling better and ready for school. He had a case of 24 hour flu, the stomach bug kind, which was just awful!
Grateful to find a little humor at his stage of my Dad’s Dementia. He forgot how to check his email and was so frustrated. He thought something was wrong with his computer. So he convinced one of his friends, another older gentleman, that he needed his help and pickup truck to take the whole computer into a Best Buy store to have it taken apart and worked on. I convinced him this was not necessary and helped him get back into his email. There was also the day I left him in Texas after he had moved into assisted living. Just before I left, he had come out of the bathroom and said “I’m proud for pooping in the potty instead of my diaper and now I’m going to happy hour.” My Dad has never been a drinker by the way.
Grateful my friend had her ultrasound and does not have breast cancer
Grateful for another sober day
Grateful for each of you
