Morning Gratitude ~ Part 86

Grateful to get the kids off to school, then get back into bed to steal a few moments to be in this special board with all of you.
Grateful I let my son sleep in our bed last night. I don’t sleep when that happens but somehow in the middle of a deep sleep and being frightened awake had the presence of mind to know I turn him away 95% of the time and he won’t want to keep getting in our bed for too terribly much longer (I hope!)
Grateful we are done hosting parties for a while.
Grateful for the wonderful friends who came over yesterday. Some old some very new.
Grateful for yesterday’s nap.
Grateful I successfully grew a bumper crop of carrots and my herb garden is overflowing.
Grateful for a warm snap in the weather.
Grateful for the beautiful yoga practice I got to do yesterday courtesy of streamed Stephanie Snyder. Focus was on the quality of your service, your offering — not being defined by merits and demerits and the outward trappings of success — but how earnestly you offer yourself up in service. That to think in a list of check marks about accomplishments is to be too small, make your acts too small.
Grateful for the gift of another day and countless opportunities to be of service.

Grateful to add value in whatever way I can, even if just in small ways. Reminds me of the part in the movie, Fargo, when Margie congratulated Norm on winning the three cent stamp painting.
Grateful for the quote in my manager’s office: Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there. For me, it’s about the importance of goal setting, both personally and professionally, and taking action.
Grateful for all of you!

Grateful for open communication in new relationships, which allows one to navigate initial hiccups.
Grateful the hiccup is the realization that we should probably show some restraint and attend to our adult responsibilities rather than spend every free moment hanging out like love-mad teenagers. A lovely hiccup to have.
Grateful Henry is recovering well and gets his stitches out this week.

Grateful for the springlike temps in the 50's. Except now it's muddy, but I'll take it.
Grateful I actually slept 3 nights in a row without waking up in the wee hours.

Courage, awesome milestone!
Grateful there’s at least a tiny glimmer of hope I’ll come home over lunch and take a nap (woke up at 3:20 a.m.)
Grateful for the chance to not respond with haste and in anger to work communications—and grateful for those times I take it.
Grateful for warmth.
Grateful that yesterday when I got less than a day’s notice for a meeting with a senator that was set up two weeks ago, I held my ground and prioritized taking my daughter and her friend to dinner and then dance class.
Grateful for eating dinner at an old favorite restaurant where I drank far too much booze. Watching people drink didn’t make me feel anything except generalized pity (for them, not me).
Grateful for pink lemonade. That’s what I had instead of a margarita!
Grateful to come here and feel the positives on a stressful day.

Congratulations Courage, you're such an inspiration. 5 years, wow, I hope to be able to say that one day.
Grateful to wake up sober and present this morning and be up before the rest of the house.
Grateful to have done the school run safely.
Grateful to be able to help my daughter by taking a load of clothes to the charity shop for her.
Grateful to get home, put a wash load in and stick a load in the dryer.
Grateful my naughty little cat pooped in her litter tray, she missed it yesterday and pooped on the floor next to it
Grateful for coffee whilst I'm posting.
Grateful to be here with you all. x

Grateful that we will be moving back to our house a week from today - not a moment too soon.
Grateful for a busy day at work, because it means I have things to contribute.
Grateful to be of service.
Grateful that my dad is able to care for my mom, in her time of need.
Grateful for healthy kids.
Grateful for the chance to make healthy choices today.
Grateful that I don't have to be perfect.
Grateful to have clothes that I can just put on without worrying that they won't fit, or how they will look.
Grateful that I learn new things every day.

Grateful to spend time reading all the grat posts including last nights since I fell asleep before I had a chance to post
Grateful for rare snow fall in SF Bay Area
Grateful I don’t come to FB anymore first thing in the morning. In fact I don’t go there at all. Grateful to get a chuckle over a friend who will text me FB posts from other friends who are a mess. She feels I’m missing out. Lol
Grateful to allow myself to be vulnerable with the right people in my life
Grateful for chimney sweeps and to look forward to using the fireplace again
Grateful to get the car service taken care
